Chapter 35: The Park

I wake up to my alarm and remember everything that happened last night and run to Amber's room and jump on her bed waking her up. She groans a turns over "oh hey" she says in like a groggy voice "hi" I say laughing a little bit. She kisses my cheek and gets out of bed and go in her bathroom and I go back to my room to get dressed trying to figure out what to do today since it's Sunday. I put on some jeans and a shirt with red flowers on it and then I went downstairs and mom put breakfast on the table "hey honey I made waffles" she said "thx they looks delicious" I said as I sat down and grabbed some. While I was eating I saw Amver come down stairs wearing some black pants and a demon slayer T shirt and yet she still looked beautiful "hey" she said and kissed my cheek "hey" I said back. She sat down and grabbed some waffles and started to eat and mom said "so girls any plans today?" and we both shook our heads "how about we go to the park it's chilly so we would bring our coats" and we both got excited and said "YEAH" and mom just laughed.

We finish breakfast and grab our coats and put on our shoes and then head to the car. We drove to the park which wasn't really that far and when we got there we saw some ice on the ground "girls be careful of the ice" and we both agreed that we'd be careful and went to the playground. We looked at some kids wearing coats and playing on the equipment and it reminded me of all the good times my actual mom and I had and I wish she was more supportive. Amber looked over at me and asked me was I okay and I just nodded not wanting to talk about it and went to sit on a bench. Amber walked over and sat next to me "hey" she said putting her hand in mine "tell me what's wrong" and then I knew I had to explain to her my old memories.
