Chapter 40: Back At School pt2

Eventually the bell rang and I got up after getting beat up by Diane, Claire and Bianca and went to the nurse and she put some bandages on me and told me to call my mom. I called her and she came about 20 minutes later and when she saw me she nearly screamed "honey what happened?" and I explained and then she hugged me gently and then took me home. When we got there I went to my room and sat by my window and cried until someone else came into my room "hey" they said and I knew it was Amber I know her voice anywhere. She looked at me and immediately said "what happened?" and I also explained to her and she looked mad "so one day I'm not at school and this happens" she said pacing. "I'm so sorry I was sick" she said I just hugged her and said "it's not our fault Diane is the one who did this not you" she just hugged me and said come in I'll take a look at your injuries and I followed her into my bathroom. I took off my shirt and she looked at me and had tears in her eyes and took off the bandages and saw my body there were purple bruises all over my body and she put some cream on it and I flinched as she did it but then put some new bandages on. We went back to my room and I asked Amber if she was feeling better and she said yeah and that she will ba back at school tomorrow and I was happy to hear that I actually feel safe with her around I kissed her cheek and we decided to sit on my bed and watch some Netflix.

After a while mom called us down for dinner and it was just baked Mac and cheese and we all sat down at the table and mom started asking me about my injuries. "So honey what should we do about this I mean that Diane girl should be expelled for physically harming you" and I agreed but there was not proof that she did it so it would just be my word against hers "no it's okay it's not like I got her on video doing it". "Wait doesn't the school have like these new cameras that they were installing" Amber said "oh yeah I remember that" we had a plan to go to the principal tomorrow and get Diane expelled and I was excited she was finally gonna get what she deserves. After we finished dinner we all went upstairs and my mom called the school and scheduled a meeting for tomorrow and me and Diane and our parents were gonna be there and since Amber wasn't involved she couldn't be there.  After that I went to my room and laid in bed and Amber laid in bed next to me and she said "we're gonna get justice".
