Chapter 17:A long night

While we were driving home we stopped for ice cream at Dairy Queen and I got a M&M blizzard and Amber got an Oreo blizzard.She started laughing and I said what's so funny and she said that I had ice cream on my face and she wiped it off.It was dark outside and when we got home me and Amber went to take a shower because well we smelled like the ocean so I went up to my room and took a shower and then I put on some black sweatpants and a sleeveless white shirt.I hear a knock on my door and I said "come in" and Amber came in and she sat on my bed and said "are you okay?"  "Yeah why?" And she sat on the backboard of my bed which is where I was sitting and she said "can we talk about this" she said gesturing to my legs.I quietly said "okay what do you want to know?" "I want you to talk to me about this because I'm scared for you" when she said that I felt bad because this is one of the reasons why I didn't want to tell her.I lay on her lap and not say anything and we sit there in silence until she said "you want to watch some Maine?" and  that's what we did.We stayed up most of the night watching My Hero academia and I started to fall asleep and Amber said "hey Sam?"  "hm?" will you at least tell me when you feel like hurting yourself?" I thought for a little bit "okay I promise" she just smiled and I fell asleep.While I was asleep I was dreaming about me hurting myself to a dangerous extent and Amber found me and she cried. Suddenly I woke up which I guess in my anxious state woke up Amber too she asked "hey hey what's wrong?"oh nothing I just had a bad dream of me dying and you were too late to save me" she hugged me tight and said "that's never going to happen not if I can help it" I smiled and went back to sleep because it was 3am and I was still tired.
