Draupadi groaned for the fifty sixth time. She had been sitting in the palanquin since an hour and it had still had two hours to go. Having nothing to do she closed her eyes and drifted into deep slumber, but what a fate he was there in her dreams too. Draupadi smiled as she reminisced their first meet.
FLASHBACK(in italics)
"Krishnaa!" Her parents- Drupad and Mahima called her out but she sat rooted on her bed and ballooned her cheeks.
"Am not going to talk to you, how can you decide my marriage with some random guy!?" She pouted, how can she marry someone when a certain pair golden hazels have captured her heart that too just by sneaking into her dreams.
Drupad knew only one person can make her understand, and he had already called him.
"Sakhi" His soothing voice calmed her racing heart as she saw him enter her room.
"Govind! Look mata and pitashree decided my marriage without my permission!" she whinned, "Tell them that I don't want to marry."
"Thank god you came Vasudev, now you only can make her understand this, explain her how important it is for her to marry now." Mahima said and Krishna gave a reassuring nod to her. After glancing at Draupadi who looked like a kid who was denied of her favorite candy sitting on the bed with ballooned cheeks, pouted lips, crossed arms and knitted eyebrows. Mahima and Drupad shook their head and left the room.
"Sakhi now tell me why you don't want to marry?"
"Govind I have seen a pair of golden hazels in my dreams, and it looked like they have done some magic on me, I don't know Govind what is this, This is something I have never ever felt before. An..and I cannot describe it in words. It is something which maybe even the greatest author can tell in mere words."
Krishna smiled pointed towards a portrait covered with a cloth. She looked at it curiously and then again looked at Krishna, "What is it Govind?"
"Go and look yourself Krishnaa."
Draupadi hummed and walked to where the portrait was kept. With shivering hands she removed the cloth slowly. She gasped as she saw the same hazels as she saw in her dreams, but what shocked her was the owner of that hazel eyes who was the most handsome man she had ever laid her eyes. Such drool worthy sexiness he has! Plump full lips, high well defined cheek bones, chiseled jawline, straight sharp pointed nose and shoulder length hair.
