Arjun smiled as he saw Draupadi sneak into his study from the corner of his eye. Her moves were swift and soundless, but Arjun was trained enough to trace them.
"Guess who?" She asked like a five-year-old kid, covering his eyes with her soft palms.
Arjun's heart fluttered in joy as he heard her giggle sweetly. "I know it is you Krishnaa." He said, pulling her on his lap.
"How did you know it was me?" She pouted and locked her arms around his neck.
Arjun shrugged his shoulders as if he was doing something as casual as people wearing clothes. "What are you doing?" He asked as he saw her get up from his lap and move towards a pile of pages.
"Are these the documents of the royal treasury?" Draupadi questioned as she picked up a paper from the pile, examining it carefully.
Her eyes traced the movement of Arjun's hand as he took the paper from her hand and made her sit on his lap, again. His arms snaked around her waist.
"They are. Now tell me what were you doing here?"
Draupadi smiled naughtily, "Can't I come to give my husband a visit? And to add further, my husband is more interested in these crumpled, ugly pages rather than his wife!" She huffed and crossed her arms against her chest, the adorable pout never leaving her face.
Arjun pursed his lips together to stop the blooming smile, he kept a straight face, trying to be serious, "Hmm. Your husband must be a fool then. What shall he do to make up with his miffed wife?"
He placed a chaste kiss on her lips, making her blush. "Maybe a horse ride will do."
"A horse ride then."
Draupadi immediately jumped off his lap but was halted by his further words.
"But only if you promise to save a dinner for me later."
She half-turned back in his direction. A soft smirk tugged her lips, while she nodded in agreement, "Deal!"

"No! You will ride with me on Saibya." Arjun declared.
"Arya, please! I can ride a horse very well, you know that." Draupadi said, blinking her large blue eyes.
"No," Arjun said in a stern voice.
Draupadi turned her back towards him, her eyes turned glossy and she hunched her shoulders.
Arjun sighed, he was saying this for her safety but of course not in the return with her being sad, "Fine. Take your horse." He said not at all happy with his own decision, but it wasn't like he could see tears in her eyes.
Draupadi smirked. "I knew this emotional drama works!" She exclaimed happily, mounting on her horse.
Arjun rolled his eyes but he could not stop the smile which spread on his face.
