The night was short, especially for the lovebirds.
The dawn's chirping of birds was followed by the hustle bustle in the state.
Mahima and Devki were all busy, choosing the right outfit for their beloved daughter along with Ashtabharyas.
"This one!" Satyabhama said, pulling out heavy fuchsia pink lehenga with silver lining, from the pile of dresses sprawled all over Draupadi's chamber.
Rukmini took the lehenga in her hands, examining it carefully. "Nah!" She sighed, "Drau will be suffocated in this dress. It is too heavy."
Jambhavati hummed along, "Pass me the blue one, Mahima mata."
"This?" Mahima asked handing an ocean-blue velvety lehenga with small white diamonds complementing it, to Jambhavati who nodded her head.
"No! Neither that one Jambhavati, it does not match the beauty of Krishnaa." Rukmini clicked her tongue.
Devki rolled her eyes and crossed her arms against her chest. "Well, if you talk about matched Drau's beauty with some piece of fabric, you are trying to jump from the top of the Kailash Parvat and come back alive."
"Right" Rukmini huffed, nodding her head.
"Ma- OH MY GODDD!!"
The sudden yelling of Draupadi made everyone jump up from their place.
"What?" Vishakha who was chilling on the bed, asked Draupadi.
The Princess of Panchal stood horrified at the door of the chamber. "IS THIS MY ROOM?" She asked with wide eyes. "IT LOOKS MORE LIKE A FISH MARKET!"
"The condition of the room isn't that bad." Satya said dead-panned.
Drupad and Vasudev came running in the room, "What happened?" They asked, frantically looking across the room. "Is there a robber or something worse in here? What makes this room so messed up?"
Draupadi gasped dramatically, "Someone just said that this room isn't that messy!"
"Look around! The dresses are present in each and every corner of my room! On the carpet, the couch, the dressing table, the floor, the swing and there is a literal MOUNTAIN OF CLOTHES on my bed! -"
"You forgot the bed stand" Vishakha said, making herself a place to settle down amongst the pile of cloths.
"Oh yeah! The bed stand too. Wait, are you guys really listening, or I am a dumbo talking?"
( Relatable as aff! Like I am the one blabbering and no one even looks at me! I feel so useless.)
"Pfft. Chill young lady! You needa relax, rather than behaving like a granny." Devki said, diving into the heap, "Now tell me, The yellow dress looks better or the green one?"
