~ GOD IS A WOMAN ~
" You'll believe god is a woman. "

Draupadi embedded the knife in the huge rock and ripped out the fourth plate of gold.

You, accustomed to courage,
and exiled from delight.
until rise the holy temple,
and come to our sight,
O' Conqueror,
You, would liberate her from the unrighteous life.

She happily embraced the shaking of earth beneath her bare feet. The blood from the wounds on her feet seeped into the mud. She shifted a few steps back as the large boulder crumbled to the ground. A large dent formed in the earth, the cracks breaking the crust meters apart. She sighed. A huge load had lifted from her shoulders. Her heart fluttered happily. Finally. She could return to where she belonged to. She would return to her husband. For days, she had been travelling through varied terrain of earth and sand, brittle shrubs and jagged rocks that extended all the way to the distant mountains crouched at the horizon.

Dark clouds covered the sky, leaning to kiss the horizon. The blowing winds slapped dust on the trees' face. A small smile tipped at her lips as the crown of the temple peeked from the leaf bedaubed surface. She let out a laugh at her little victory. This was the end! Happily every after!

Her eyes took in the rising temple. Though half of it was yet to erect, the other half was magnificent. Splendiferous. The earth trembled under her feet and quaked as if unable to bear the excellence of the temple. She took a step back and craned her neck to take a look at the temple once at stood with all its glory. Thought built a thousand years ago, it was as grandiose as the day it was completed. Draupadi walked closer and traced the cravings with her fingertips. Her finger barely gracing the grooves and ridges with their touch. Her eyes were wide with wonder. There were statutes of various naga deities performing rituals and yagya. She dragged her feet towards the unopened door. The same woman with snake-like hair that she had seen on the blood moon night was craved into the door. Her stony structure highlighting the curves of her body. Her hair were replaced with snakes that shot out in different directions. Their mouth wide open, and fangs of display. The incisions were accurate to an extent that she could make out the scales on the body of those snakes. A tiara placed among those snakes, on the crown of her head, held the same green gem.

Draupadi took a minute to appreciate the work of art before her. Her eyes savoured the scene, not knowing how long it would last. She finally took a deep breath and placed her palms flat on the door. Just as she was about to push through it, a slight rustle of leaves caught her attention. The warrior in her alerted and her body tensed, naturally going into the defensive stance.

Her taut body pressed against the door. Her ears perked up, attentively listened for any further noise.

Thud. Thud. Thud.
