My grandma asked me to clean her living room, and within the first 15 minutes I was almost done. Whenever she got home, (I had been alone) suddenly I was there for 2+ more hours trying to finish my job. My grandma was making me mad while I was cleaning so each time she stopped me, I would glare at her. And my grandma is a very straightforward person and has no problem talking about people right to their faces. So she straightfacedly said to me, "Stop glaring at me. You look like that girl from The Ring with your hair in your face like that."

Mind you, I am a strawberry blonde with short hair and green eyes, with chubby cheeks and the least intimidating face in the world.

Whenever Jimin and I showed up in the same room for a meeting the next day about Jimin's debut song, neither of us seemed to be able to say a thing to each other. Both his manager, my trainer, and the head producers noticed the mating bite on Jimin's neck. But none of them asked who made it, thankfully. I didn't think I could handle them criticizing us for our mistake right now.

Whenever I walked out of the meeting room without a clue of what the meeting was about, I was vaguely aware of Jimin coming the same way as me. Whenever it was obvious that he was following me rather than just going somewhere in the same direction, I stopped abruptly. He stopped just as quickly, and gave me a worried look whenever I turned around to look at him.

"What do you want, Jimin?" I asked with a blank stare.

He averted his gaze whenever he was met with my cold demeanor. "I...was wondering if you were okay.." He mumbled.

"My pup rejected me just yesterday, and you want to know if I'm okay?" I asked, narrowing my eyes at him. "If our positions were switched, would you be okay?"

"Well...no..."

"Then why would you ask me such a stupid question?"

His gaze fell.

"I don't know." He said softly. "I just...wanted to know if you were okay..."

"No. I'm not okay." I said, before I continued the walk back to my and my mentor's shared office. To my dismay, Jimin continued to follow me.

"Hyung..." He called, obviously not wanting to end the conversation. I, however, was finished. I didn't want to talk to him right now. I ignored him, and as soon as I arrived at the office, I slammed and locked the door in his face.

He lightly knocked on the door a few times, but I put on some headphones so I could ignore him, and that was that.

However, whenever I was ready to call it a day and leave at nine pm, I frowned whenever I saw Jimin was sitting right beside the door, hugging his knees to his chest and resting his chin between them with a long, dejected stare. Whenever he heard the door open, he immediately perked up and stood quickly. He grabbed my hand, not wanting me to try and leave him before he could say anything.

"H-Hyung..." He whimpered quietly. "Please listen..."

"To what, Jimin? There's nothing else to talk about. Jiyoon doesn't want me as her father. That's all there is to it."

"Hyung...that isn't it, I swear. She's just...she needs time. She's a puppy, after all. You can't expect her to immediately adapt to her daddy coming into her life so abruptly. And after that incident, she just doesn't know what or how to think. She'll come around, I promise..."

"And what if she doesn't? What's the point in me sticking around if she doesn't want me?"

"Well..." He looked away, a little blush starting to appear on his cheeks. "I want you. Is that not enough for you to stay...?"

I frowned whenever he confessed. I sighed and shook my head. "I want you too, love, but Jiyoon is priority. If she doesn't want me around, then I should stay away. It's for the best."

Jimin looked hurt. I quickly turned away whenever I saw his expression, not wanting to give in to him.

It's for the best.

Even so, as I walked away from the breaking omega, I didn't want to. I wanted to go back over to him and hold him, tell him it was all a lie and that I wanted him. But I couldn't do that.

Jiyoon is priority. And if Jiyoon doesn't want me, then I can't want Jimin. They both need someone that can care for them better.

Clearly, that person isn't me.

~Jimin's POV~

Whenever I went home that night, I couldn't look at anyone. Not Jiyoon, not Kai, and not Soojin. I just walked to my room without so much as a glance at any of them, and a blank expression on my face. Kai looked worried whenever he saw me, and soon after I had laid down in bed, Kai softly knocked on my door.

"Jimin?" He softly called as he peeked into the room. "You okay, pup?"

I looked at him from where I laid in bed, not even trying to hide my dejected expression. He gave me a soft look, coming into my room and sitting on the bed beside my head. "What's wrong, pup? What happened?"

I gulped, moving closer to him and cuddling with his leg. "Jiyoonie rejected Yoongi hyung yesterday as her dad because of something that happened at McDonalds. Yoongi hyung was trying to defend us, but he couldn't control his anger. It scared us both, and seems to have made Jiyoon distrust him enough to stop calling him daddy. So hyung thinks that Jiyoon doesn't want him around, and he says that we can't be together if Jiyoonie doesn't want him..." I said softly. "Jiyoon..." I frowned slightly, trying not to accuse my pup, but I couldn't help it. "Jiyoon ruined everything..."

"Don't say that, pup. We both know you don't mean it. Jiyoon was just scared, and Yoongi just doesn't know what to do. They'll both come around, I'm sure. You just have to give it time. I'm sure Jiyoon will be crying for her daddy before long."

"But..."

"Nope. No buts, Jimin. Just give it some time, and let the two let things sink in. Jiyoon, while she doesn't understand everything and what happened, I'm sure she'll realize that she wants her daddy more than she wants to be afraid over whatever happened. And Yoongi, I'm sure if he's worth anything, he'll realize that he wants both you and your puppy regardless of what Jiyoon thinks of him."

"...Okay, hyung..I can give it a little time, but..."

"No buts."

I smiled a little. "Fine. No buts. But...seriously. Do you really think they'll come through? I..really want Yoongi hyung in my life. I need him, and Jiyoonie needs him too, whether she knows it or not. He...marked me, you know...and..I don't know if it's the mating bite talking or really me, but...I really want to be with him..."

Kai smiled. "If he loves you, then he'll come through, pup. If he doesn't, then he wasn't worth it anyway."

I smiled. "Thank you, hyung..."

"No problem, pup." He mumbled, leaning down and kissing my forehead. "I'll watch Soojin and Jiyoon tonight. You go ahead and go to sleep, okay?"

"Okay."

He smiled softly at me, before he stood up and left the room, leaving me to my thoughts.

I really hope he's right...
