Staying the Night

The boy smiled at me. "Okay GoodBoyHalo!" He held my hand and we walked out of the empty school.

I changed back into my human form so we don't get any looks from people. I looked at my phone with my other hand. Nothing new happening so I put it away.

After a few minutes of walking we were finally at my house. I grabbed my key out of my hoodie pocket and unlocked the door. It was empty as usual.

Jef went in behind me and set his backpack down beside mine. He was amazed "I like your house!" I shrugged. "Its nice I guess. Nothing special."

Jef giggled a bit. "So, where's your parents?" "Out for buisness trips. Don't worry I'm used to being here alone. I can take care of myself anyway." I said.

"Oh, okay!" Jef understood. I went into the kitchen and on my way there I looked at Jef's backpack it was black and orange like his hoodie and had a little pumpkin keychain. "You must really like pumpkins, huh?" Jef smiled "Yeah especially cartoon ones with cute faces. They make me all soft inside!"

I couldn't help but giggle. "Cute." I said under my breath. But I guess it wasn't quiet enough when I saw Jef looking at me, a light pink appearing on his tan cheeks. "What was that Good?" He looked at me with that expression that said "I know what you said but I want you to repeat it because it was really adorable and out of the ordinary for you."

I looked away before my face was red. "N-nothing. Anyways, do you want a snack?" Jef said "I already have one."

I had a shocked look. I couldn't help that my mind goes straight to the gutter sometimes. "Oh? And what is that?"

Jef went into his backpack and pulled out a ziploc bag with two pumpkin muffins inside. He reached into the bag and grabbed one and bit into it. A smile appearing on his face. He looked at me. "Want one? I have an extra."

I nodded. "Yeah sure." He gave me the other muffin and I took a bite and my face lit up. It was the most amazing thing I have ever eaten in my life. Jef caught on. "They are good huh? My mom makes the best pumpkin muffins from from pumpkins right in our garden."

He suddenly looked up "That reminds me. I need to text my mom so she knows I'm spending the night at your house." He got his phone and began typing. A minute later he turned his phone off. "Okay." He said "She knows and she is fine with it. But I totally forgot to bring pajamas and stuff."

I said "Don't worry I have extra that you can borrow. I also have an extra toothbrush too. Don't worry, it's not used." Jef smiled "Sweet! You know you are nice I don't know why you are so alone all the time."

I slowly looked down and turned into my demon form. Jef understood. "Oh...right.. well who cares about that. I'm not scared of you." He reached over and gave me a hug.

I didn't know what to expect. My red eyes lit up. A cyan blush appeared on my face. I couldn't help but to hug back.

This feeling is weird. What is this feeling?
