Outside of Axel, Y/n and Megumin could be seen skipping off as they usually do.

Y/n: Despite all the bullshit that's been going on, Megumin and I have maintained this shit routine of ours that somehow ended up with me learning explosion magic. Don't look at me like that. I'm an impulsive decision-maker. Fuck off.

They could be seen at the now-dead Verdia's castle.

Megumin: Explosion!

And off went an explosion.

Y/n: On rainy days.

Surprise surprise, yet another blast of explosion magic is thrown out.

Y/n: On snowy days.

Yet another explosion.

Y/n: Even on peaceful afternoons.

Megumin releases a blast of explosion magic into a rather large lake, making water rain down on them while also creating a rainbow.

Megumin: What do you think of this rainbow? I give that one 120 points!

Y/n merely stared up at the sky in silence.

Y/n: Why am I still doing this? I just wanna drink...

Through the power of time skips, Y/n can be seen seated in the guild alongside Aqua, Megumin, and Kazuma. The four of them each have a glass of water in front of them as at the moment, none of them could actually afford anything else. Not even Y/n as his drinking habits are rather difficult to fund. Especially when you're millions in debt. Fuck, was it millions? I'mma be honest, I don't remember. It would take literally a minute for me to check, but let's not pretend either of us cares.

Kazuma: Tomorrow we're going into a dungeon.

Megumin: No.

Kazuma: We are.

Megumin: No, no way!

Kazuma: We are! We are!

Megumin: I mean, I'm practically useless inside a dungeon! I can't use explosion magic which makes me an ordinary civilian!

Kazuma: Remember when you joined up with us, and you said you'd carry our bags or whatever we needed?

Aqua: Hey, can't we wait until Darkness gets back?

Kazuma: Listen to me!

He slams his hand on the table, startling Aqua.

Kazuma: Right now, we've got as much debt as some countries! If we don't do something, we'll starve to death! And the worst thing is, that's not the part that scares me the most! Y/n's been twitching for the past few hours and it makes me uncomfortable!

They all take a moment to look at Y/n who is indeed twitching, while also gently caressing his flask, muttering to it.

Kazuma: How can you idiots not understand!? He'll sell our organs or something!! Stupid! Are you stupid!? Of course, you are!

Aqua: Even though I'm being paid more now for folding milk cartons?

Kazuma: Those side jobs are never going to bring us the kind of money we need!

He slams a quest sheet onto the table and everyone, including Y/n, takes a look at it.

Y/n: Beginners dungeon. Keele's dungeon. Kazuma, you absolute neanderthal, that place is empty. I already went there.

Kazuma: At least let me explain before you insult me!

Luna: You see, the thing is...

They all turn to Luna who kind of appeared out of nowhere.
