People tell stories that span centuries, about heroes, Gods, monsters, demons, extraordinary quests and adventures.

People also say that when the story ends, that's it, nothing ever happens afterwards. But stories never end, they continue on and on into the next generation.

???: "Lucy! Heads up!!"

Running across the basketball court, at speeds your average high school girl wouldn't be able to reach, was the power forward for the Stroudsburg High School Girls Basketball Team. She had long chocolate brown hair and bright blue eyes, almost like that of a galaxy. She wore a maroon and white jersey and gym shorts. Her purplish blue shoes seemed a little out of place, but she never cared too much about appearances.

She was on the shorter side, however that didn't matter when she played basketball. She could run extremely fast, like she never ran out of energy, and jump extremely high, which allowed her to become the best scorer of the team.

Lucy: "Pass it!!"

Lucy ran to the left side, just outside of the 3
point line. This made a tall girl from the opposing team get ready to block. However, at the last second, she made a split second turn and dashed towards the far right side of the three point line. She leaped into the air just as the one girl tossed the ball towards her. She grabbed onto the ball tightly with one hand, and with no defense on the right side, went straight down into the net just as time ran out, winning them the game.

Lucy: "Hell yeah!!!!"

The rest of the team ran over to her, jumping up and down, cheering for her. Some of them even picked her up.

Team: "Lucy! Lucy! Lucy! Lucy!!!"

After congratulating the opposing team on a good game, the team went into the locker room.

Lucy opened her locker and pulled her gym bag out. As she was stripping, one of her teammates came over.

???: "That was so badass! You're so fast I didn't even see you at first. You're lucky I did though"

The teammate was actually a very close friend of Lucy's. Technically, she was Lucy's cousin. Her name was Mia, and she was the point guard for the Basketball team. Her passes were so swift and sudden that most players wouldn't even see it. Lucy had always relied on her when it came to scoring, since she always managed to find a way to pass the ball to her.

Mia was more of a tough girl, like a tomboy. She had short red hair and very light green eyes. There was always a bandage somewhere on her body, but today is was on her left cheek. She wore a greenish blue sleeveless shirt and a black skirt, with a pair of shorts underneath. She always wore white workout gloves on her hands. Around her neck, she wore a small necklace with a bright green gem in the center. She never took it off, even in the shower from what she'd told Lucy.
