What a fucking disaster...

I know what you're thinking, I'm a complete asshole. And you know what, you're not the first to think that. But hey, I'm used to it at this point.

I've been going to Mytho-Academy for most of my life. It started when I was 7, and I accidentally faded into my own shadow. I remember feeling so alone and cold. Then, Mom came in to save me. Both Mom and Dad talked to me about everything, how we were descended from literal Gods. But going to Mytho-Academy changed me... and not for the better.

After I left Lucy in the infirmary, I started skulking around the school. I didn't have any classes at the moment, so I had nothing better to do. I was walking out of the main building when I heard an explosion over by the training arena. It's where we had combat training class, which was ran by the Greek God of War, Ares.

I decided to ignore it and kept walking. I kept going until I reached one of the main areas of the school. The whole section was made up of one building, which looked like a Greek Pantheon. It was the Greek wing of the school, and since my Mother's Godly parent was Hades, a Greek God, I was put here. As for my Father's Godly Parent, I'm not allowed to talk about it.

As I was walking inside, I past multiple students, all of them scowling and avoiding eye contact with me, nothing new. I made my way to my dorm room and went inside. Think of a really expensive apartment, that was my dorm room.

The second I walked in, I felt a slight tug on my back. I turned around and saw a shadowy figure appearing out of my own shadow. It looked like if a jackal and a human mixed together, however it's eyes looked normal. Well, not completely normal, they had a kind of evilness to them that could make anyone afraid, except me. It spoke in a raspy, gravely voice.

???: "Have you reconsidered my offer?"

Lucas: "Go to hell, I already said no"

???: "Why do you deny my offer? You know the fate you walk along, how long until you reach that point?"

Lucas: "My answer stays the same, nothing will convince me"

???: "What about granting your ultimate wish~? I could make it happen"

I scowled at the shadow.

Lucas: "You don't have the power to do anything remotely close to that"

???: "I do not, however I know of a being that is capable of granting such wish"

I sighed in frustration.

Lucas: "Leave, I don't have time for this"

???: "Very well, but my offer still stands..."

The shadow faded away, leaving me alone in my dorm.

Lucas: "Why me... don't I already have enough going on in my life..."

I looked down at the mark on my forearm, still not sure what symbol it actually is, since it's constantly shifting.
