All morning my phone was bombarded with messages from Mikie. From the condo all the way to the gallery. I mean, not that I was complaining or anything. Noong una akala ko about the final details ng gallery launch party kasi sunod sunod ang mga messages. I will admit na natakot ako roon because he usually doesn't text me this early in the morning unless they were urgent. To my surprise, when I opened the messages they all were pictures of Yoda.

Good Morning Mommy!

Mommy, kumain ka na? Ang sarap ng dog food na binili ni Daddy!

Iiwan na ako ni Daddy :( Work na raw siya. Kailan mo ako bisitahin ulit? Miss na po kita. 

Mikie even sent me the photos he took of Yoda and I at the park. Ang laki ng ngiti ko. These definitely made my morning. Of course, I saved all of these photos. Momentarily, these took my mind off the launch. The night before I was hella anxious. The launch date was so close and me, being the perfectionist that I was, worried about every single detail. 

I expected Mikie to be in the gallery already but he wasn't which was surprising since he almost always was early. A part of me looked for him. My eyes searched around the already busy gallery and I will not lie, na dismaya ako noong hindi ko siya mahanap. 

Nakaupo lang ako sa table ko, nakatitig sa phone ko, nagdedebate kung i-tetext ko ba si Mikie o hindi. I contemplated long and hard. Kung i-memessage ko siya, baka anong isipin noon. That was the last thing I wanted to happen! 

ANYWAY kaya ko naman na wala siya rito. Sino ba siya para hanapin ko siya?

Pero...

Saan kaya yun?

Hay nako, Nina! 

I mean wala namang mawawala sa akin kung i-tetext ko siya hindi ba? — I mean aside from my pride, wala naman ata?

 Sige na nga, sige na nga! I-tetext ko na siya. But what will I say? 

'Hello Good Morning. Office ka today? :)' Nope, erase! Masyadong obvious na hinahanap ko siya. Also, ang baduy ng smiley.
