Choi Beomgyu has always been different. He could tell even at a young age surrounded by many other elementary schoolers. He was born as an Alpha, with two Alpha parents to accompany him, and even they had a massive reputation for being the literal embodiment of what an Alpha is defined as. Were many people stereotypical? Yes. Absolutely. Is that why Beomgyu's parents were the most Alpha you'd ever meet? Apparently so. Even though Beomgyu was born as an Alpha, he had never fully acted like one, completely opposite in fact. Some assumed that maybe the doctors were wrong and he was a beta, he had some Alpha traits but tended to be more childish. But he was a child. He would grow out of it, right? But as Beomgyu grew older it seemed more and more like he was an Omega. And it wasn't a great look for him or his parents unfortunately.

Beomgyu grew up loving to play with makeup, occasionally dress up like a princess when he was home alone, bring his Ryan plushie around for comfort, make nests, hug and peck everyone on the cheek, and he never got into a physical fight nor liked to yell at someone. It was often noticed that he was smaller than most Alphas and his features were more feminine. A lot of these things were considered as omega traits in the society he was growing up in and he was bashed for it all the time. His always overheard other parents talking about it to his Eomma and Appa, which made him feel guilty because they seemed so upset about the criticism of their own son who just couldn't be the Alpha everyone wanted him to be.

His parents were a little disappointed but they mostly worried for Beomgyu, he would grow up unable to fit in because of his labeled dynamic. They didn't want him to grow up being bullied and evidently not be able to find his true mate. They worried so hard and decided they would do their best to encourage Beomgyu to change. He wanted to make his parents happy and did learn to get into Alpha interests but deep down he knew he couldn't really live up to the label. Beomgyu learned to live through his own life constantly being criticized, so his Eomma and Appa were right about that one thing, but there was one thing they weren't right about.
