Should I Stay Or Go?

When I woke up again, I saw Draco curled up on a chair in the corner, looking like a ferret. I smiled and looked around me. I couldn't see Madam Pomfrey but Professor Snape was still sleeping.

I pushed the blanket off myself and swung my legs to the side of my bed and got down. I hobbled across the floor and over to Snape. I looked down at him and saw that he was looking better. Thank goodness.

I don't think he will want to teach me one on one any time soon. I looked around and then walked to Madam Pomfrey's desk. I picked up her quill and some parchment paper and wrote a note.

I walked back over to Snape and tucked the piece of paper in his hand. I looked around, to make sure nobody saw me and then walked over to Draco. I shook him awake and then walked over to the window.

I looked outside and watched the sun rise over the lake. It looked beautiful. Draco stood next to me and rested a hand on my arm.

"Do you think you should be out of bed already?" He asked with a hint of concern.

I waved him off, I felt fine. He looked out the window with me and watched the sunrise. After a few moments, I turned away from the table. I walked back to the hospital bed and petted Tiberius who padded over to me.

"Do you want to go down to breakfast?" I asked Draco. He looked at me as if he was thinking about something. He sighed and then nodded at me.

I walked over to the door and opened it, looking behind me to see what Draco was doing. He followed behind me and when we were in the corridor, he held out his arm for me to take so that I wouldn't fall over.

We walked down the corridor and to the great hall. We stopped outside so that I could catch my breath. When I was done, we walked into the hall and I sat down at the Gryffindor table.

"Do you really want me to sit here?" Draco asked me.

I nodded and patted the spot next to me. He hesitated and then joined me on the bench. I rested my head on his shoulder and sighed. I heard the doors open and more people joined us. I looked up as Harry and Ron sat opposite us.

They looked at Draco and then at me. They stared at me for a while before dissolving into chatter. Hermione sat down next to them and they pulled her into their conversation. Soon the table filled with food and I put a slice of toast onto my plate.

I ate it slowly and looked around the room. Just realising that everyone was dressed in their robes. I frowned confused and turned to Malfoy.

"Why's everyone in their robes?" I asked him.

"It's the first day back," He said slowly.

Oh. Oh! It was wasn't it. I needed to get changed. I stood up and nearly tripped over Tiberius who was laying on the floor. I was tugged back down onto the bench by Draco.

"Finish your breakfast and then you can get changed." He told me.

I picked up my toast and finished it in two bites, looking over at him. He rolled his eyes at me and muttered about that wasn't what he meant.

He stood up and then helped me. We walked out of the great hall and to the Gryffindor common room. I walked through the portrait hole, pulling Draco behind me. I pushed him down onto the sofa and said I'd be right back.

I walked upstairs and got changed into my uniform. I packed my bag, making sure I had my wand and everything else that was important, like my books and my diary. I picked up my tie and walked downstairs.

I walked over to Draco and sat down next to him, trying to do my tie. He looked at me struggling and laughed at me. I glared at him and he moved me so that I was sitting on his lap. He tied my tie and then undid it. I frowned, wondering why.
