I woke up and stretched, hitting Fred in the face as I did so. Oops. I kissed his cheek and climbed out of his bed. Good job I didn't wake him. I drew back the curtains, closing them behind me, so I didn't wake Fred up.
I left the boy's dorm and strode to the girl's. I quickly got changed into a black skirt, black tights, black boots and a white top covered up by a cream cable knit jumper. I brushed my hair and picked up my wand from my dresser, putting it in the waistband of my skirt.
I left the dorm, and out of the tower. I walked down the corridor, excited to see Lisa. The bad feeling I had the night before washed over me. I frowned and tried to ignore it as I met up with Professor Snape. It was odd seeing him in muggle clothing.
He was wearing black trousers, a white shirt and a black coat. Now he looked like a muggle teacher. He wrapped a grey scarf around his neck and we set off. We walked down to the gates and I waited for him to unlock them.
We walked in silence to Hogsmeade. We stopped outside Lisa's bric-a-brac shop and knocked on the door. There was no response so I tested the handle. The door was unlocked. I pushed open the door and we walked inside.
The shop was small so it didn't take us long to reach the door that led up to her flat. This door was also open. I guess she had unlocked them, knowing we were coming. I walked up the stairs, Professor Snape following behind.
We emerged in her front room. There were books and bits of paper strewn about. It looked completely different to how I pictured it. Snape stayed in the front room as I looked for Lisa's bedroom. I hope she isn't still asleep.
I pushed open a door and entered it. I smiled when I saw that it was her bedroom. The curtains were still drawn and it looked like she was still in bed. Tutting, I walked to the window and opened the curtains. I walked over to her bed as sun streamed in. I pulled back the quilt. She was laying on her front.
I nudged her and she rolled over. I screamed. Her face was pale and if the cuts all over her naked body weren't a big indicator, the knife in her stomach with blood dripping off the handle, told me she was dead.
I was pushed to one side as Snape checked over her body. Part of me wanted to stop him, to cover her up. She doesn't need him looking at her naked body. She's had too many men do that already. How was I going to tell Tessie that her sister, her twin, her best friend, was dead?
"Do you know where her sister lives?" Snape asked.
I shook my head. All I knew was that she lived with her boyfriend. All my correspondences had been with Lisa. Snape pulled me out of the room and sat me down on the sofa. I watched as he looked around the messy room for something.
He emerged triumphant with a piece of paper in his hand. He pulled me up and told me to hold onto him. I did as he asked and before I knew it, we were aparating somewhere. I closed my eyes as we were sucked someplace new.
I opened them again and found we were outside an abandoned train station. Snape looked at the piece of paper in his hand and pulled me into one direction. I held tight onto him, not wanting to be left behind. He stopped outside of a block of flats and pressed the trade button.
It buzzed and he pulled open the thick fire door. I followed him as he walked up the stairs, not stopping until he got to the top. He looked down at the piece of paper once more before walking towards the flat on the left. He knocked lightly on the door but it was already open.
"Stay here. I want to check it out before you come in." Professor Snape instructed.
I nodded and waited. After a few moments he came back with a grim face. I cried, knowing what it meant. Tessie was dead. Just like her sister. I went to ask about her boyfriend but he just shook his head. He was dead as well.
