The next day Legosi was walking to his class when he started thinking about what had happened between him and Jack yesterday, "Jack has so much trust and faith in me. When we hugged, I felt his warmth, I felt as if he was someone who would always believe in me no matter what. I don't want to lose that, but I can't keep lying to him either. I need to tell him the truth, but what if he ends up hating me and never wants to see me again. I just...I just don't know what to do."
As Legosi continued down the hall he saw some students that looked like they were up to something.
"Hey, why are you struggling so much?" a male dhole student asked.
"Yea, we just want to see what you can do!" a male falcon student teased.
"You're a grey wolf right? So you must be the leader of that pack everyone's been talking about," the dhole accused.
"Grey wolf? Leader of a pack that everyone is talking about? Oh Crap! Could they be talking about-?" Legosi immediately remembered what he heard a few weeks ago when he was having lunch with Kai. One of the students was calling him the leader of a pack of canines. Legosi, realizing that what was happening was his fault, ran to the students harassing the grey wolf.
"P-Please, I would never hurt anyone," the grey wolf cried.
"Ha, that's what they all say," the dhole mocked as he continued to pull on the wolf's arm.
Legosi, fearing he could make things worse by rushing up to them, calmly proceeded for the last few steps before speaking, "Um...excuse me, is there a problem here?" he looked down and saw that the wolf they were bothering was female and a freshman.
The dhole, still hanging on, looked up to answer, "What's it to-"
The bully, having seen that Legosi was twice his size, reeled back causing him to let go of the female wolf's arm, his ears folding back as well.
"Whoa!"
"That girl is my younger sister. Did something happen?" the large canine asked.
The falcon took a step back as he put his hands up, "Well we-"
Legosi looked back down, the female wolf looked up at him and he saw that they looked nothing alike, "Damn, this is gonna be a problem, going to have to think fast."
"Hey wait a minute. You said you were brother and sister, but you sure don't look like it," the falcon called out.
"Yea, you're a liar!" the dhole added.
"I take after our father and she takes after our mother," Legosi bent down to help the girl up, "Are you ok little sis?"
The female wolf grabbed a hold of his hand, "Yea, I'm fine. Thanks big bro..."
Legosi pulled her up off the ground then looked at her bullies, "We're gonna go now, we'll see you around ok."
"Yeah...see ya."
"Umm...bye."
The two slowly backed away and then ran off. Legosi was still able to hear what they were saying.
"Did you see that guy? He was huge!" the dhole said to his friend.
"I know, he could have eaten us in one bite," the falcon responded.
Legosi let out a small sigh, "Are you ok, they didn't hurt you did they?" He looked at the wolf girl and saw that she was crying.
"W-What did I do to deserve that? I was just heading to my class when they attacked me," she cried.
