It was the day after the nightmarish events of the black market and it was time for the students to wake up.

Jack yawned as he started opening eyes. He felt something heavy wrapped around him as well as a weight on his head. He lifted up the blanket and saw a large grey-furred arm around his torso. He moved his head and saw Legosi's muzzle from the corner of his eye.

Confused, Jack tried to wake his sleeping friend up in order to ask the wolf why he was in the labrador's bed. After getting a quick whiff of the strong scent of wolf in the air, he realized that he was actually in Legosi's bed. It was then that he remembered what had happened last night.

It was extremely late at night and the 701 canines were pacing around their room with worry. Legosi still hadn't come home yet and they couldn't help but be concerned over the wellbeing of their close friend.

"Where is he?" Durham asked, not directing the questions at anyone in particular.

"I don't know," Collot answered. "He isn't answering any of the texts I sent him."

"I keep calling him," Jack added. "But his phone must be turned off because it keeps going to his voicemail."

"He could have just missed the bus," Miguno said, trying to reassure his worried roommates. "If Legosi is taking the train, then it makes sense that he's late."

Voss shook his head disapprovingly. He then put his hand to his ear to simulate a phone.

"He's right Miguno," Jack barked. "That wouldn't explain why he isn't picking up or responding to our texts."

Just then, they heard the door open and in came a certain grey wolf.

"LEGOSI!" everyone yelled.

Jack paused for a millisecond, remembering what had recently happened between the two. However, he immediately dismissed the conflicting thoughts in his head. Legosi needed help right now! He ran straight into the wolf and wrapped his arms around him.

"Where have you been? We were all worried something happened to you!" the yellow dog exclaimed. "We tried to contact you every way we knew how but you never answered or called back!"

Legosi said nothing. He just looked down at his childhood friend before looking up to face the others. They were shocked to see the state he was in. His eyes were red and puffy and the fur around them and down his face were wet. Clear signs that he had been crying recently. He also had a blackeye which only made them even more concerned

"Legosi... what happened?" Durham asked cautiously.

Legosi still didn't answer. He instead wrapped his arms around Jack and held him tight. As the wolf hugged his best friend more tears came out, causing the other canines to panic. They kept questioning him so they could attempt to figure out what happened, yet he continued to remain silent. Jack was also deaf to the questions.

The labrador turned back to face the others as best he could while still holding on to Legosi. He made eye contact with Collot and with a single glance the large sheep dog understood the situation.

Durham and Miguno continued trying to ask Legosi what was going on. But Collot simply put his hand in front of them, singling them to stop. He then walked over to the two hugging canines and wrapped his arms around both of them.

Voss immediately followed and climbed up the wolf's leg and up to the side of Legosi's torso, hugging the much larger canine as well.

Durham and Miguno looked at each other in confusion. They didn't understand what was going on at all, but seeing no other options they joined in the embrace.
