The time for waiting was over and the Meteor festival was set to begin. The stage was set, the dinosaur floats were lit up, and the fairgrounds were filled with food stalls.

Every student at Cherryington flocked to the outdoor stage as the opening ceremony began. They all watched in amazement as the Drama club dancers put on a show like no other while the band filled the air with music.

Everyone cheered at the performance, including Collot, Durham, Jack, and Voss who were captivated by the dazzling lights, their tails swaying back and forth with excitement.

Legosi however was off to the side, his tail wrapped around his left leg and ears folded back as the anxiety kept trying to take over. Despite getting a little more confident with others, he still couldn't handle crowds very well and he needed a break from all the people. All the scents and animals were just so overwhelming, that he couldn't even think straight.

The wolf managed to find a bench he could sit on while he waited for the ceremony to be over. It was here where he started to feel a little bit calmer, his tail clearly showing this with how less frizzled it was.

"It's good to know the show is going well," he thought as he watched the stage from a safe distance. "The club really went all out for the festival, I just wish I could enjoy it more."

Legosi's ear flicked as he looked around the grounds, hoping to find something he could do where there weren't too many animals around.

He noticed that the area where the food stands were somewhat empty since everyone was watching the show and decided to head over.

He sniffed the air as he walked and caught the scent of one his favorite snacks, frozen peanut butter bananas. He ran over to the stand the delicious smell was coming from, his tail swaying back and forth. He was relieved to see that there was no line yet which made his tail swing even faster.

"Um... hello there, are you open?" the shy wolf asked.

The food vender turned around, revealing himself to be a white tailed deer. "Yes of course, just give me a mo-"

Rather than being greeted with the face of a consumer, the herbivore was greeted with a wall of fur. He looked up where he saw the face of a large intimidating wolf.

The vender let out a gasp as he took a step back, his ears folding back submissively as his body tensed up.

"U-Um... c-can I help you sir?" the deer asked frightfully.

Legosi, fully aware of what was going on, folded his ears back while his tail wrapped around his right leg. "No, it's alright. Sorry to bother you."

The saddened wolf bowed his head apologetically and turned to leave.

Just as Legosi was exiting the area, he felt a hand on his shoulders. He turned around and was met with three angry looks.

"Um... is there something wrong?" the grey and cream furred wolf asked, his ears folded down and tail tucked between his legs while he crouched down slightly, showing submission.

The first of the three angry strangers, a moose, spoke up. "Yea something's wrong you carnivore trash!"

The second stranger, a llama, spat at the wolf, just barely missing his shoe. "Where do you get off scaring that deer? You get some kind of kick, makes you feel like a big man?!?"

Legosi put his hands up. "No, of course not. I just wanted to buy something to eat. He was sel-"

"So you were going to eat him!" the third stranger, a buffalo, accused.
