The next day the 701 canines began their morning routine, same as always. Legosi didn't have club today, so it gave him a chance to hang out with Jack again. Jack however, was still unsure about what it was that he had been feeling towards the wolf for the last week. The yellow dog wanted some more time to sort out his strange desire to be closer to the larger canine. Legosi went over to Jack and asked him if he wanted to come have lunch on the roof with him again later today since the wolf was still hiding from everyone. This gave Jack the opportunity he needed. The labrador explained that he couldn't join his childhood friend for lunch because he needed to talk to the others about something important. Hearing this, Miguno and Voss volunteered to keep their largest roommate company, on condition that Jack would tell them what he spoke with the others about. The golden retriever nodded without hesitation, he had made a promise that he would tell his friends everything after all. What made keeping this promise even easier to keep was the fact that Jack wanted their input about his feelings towards Legosi as well.
They began heading to their first classes, just as they were about to bid each other farewell they overheard several students gossiping.
"I know it's been a few days, but I still can't get over what happened up there," a male antelope student said.
"I know, it was so surreal," his male aardvark friend responded.
A female fox student who heard the came over, "You guys are talking about the second night of the play right?"
"That's right," they both answered simultaneously.
"It was a little scary, I have to admit," she replied.
"Geez, the day hasn't even started and they're already at it," Durham whispered.
"This is why I have to hide during lunch," Legosi answered.
"That wolf was really cool though," the fox girl continued.
Both the two gossiping students and the 701 canines started at her.
"The way he stood up to that tiger was really something, and the way he handled his sword was amazing," She said excitedly. "That wolf looked so dashing in his costume and he gave such a great performance even though it was his first time on stage. I really wish I could have met him, or at least learned his name."
Legosi blushed as he looked to the side. Even though the fox girl praised him and seemed interested in him, he couldn't help but feel embarrassed by the whole thing.
Miguno playfully elbowed the wolf and winked, the hyena couldn't help but tease him for impressing a cute girl like that.
Legosi wasn't amused of course, but strangely enough, neither was Jack. The yellow dog had made jabs at his wolf friend before and teased him much like how Miguno was in the past, however this time he just felt bothered by it. He didn't know why, but he didn't like how the fox girl was talking about Legosi even though it was positive and the hyena that was joking around wasn't helping either.
The gossiping students eventually dispersed. After taking a few minutes to calm their nerves the group finally parted ways and went to their morning classes.

Jack's first and second classes for the day went well now that the bullying had died down thanks to the play, however his third class wasn't what he expected.
While looking over his notes, the labrador overheard two other dogs talking. One was a german shepherd, and the other one was dalmatian.
"Man, people won't shut up about that stupid wolf!" the german shepherd complained.
