The afternoon classes had ended for the day and Legosi returned to the dorm room to put away his school supplies. Jack on the other hand went to go look for Miguno and Voss hoping to get a little more help with his situation.
After about ten minutes of searching, the labrador managed to find them heading back to the dorm room. "Hey guys, wait up," Jack called out.
The two turned and saw Jack heading their way.
"Hey Jack, what's up?" Miguno called back.
"Not much, just wanted to talk to you guys about something," the labrador replied after catching up with his roommates.
Voss nodded, he looked around a bit and saw an unoccupied bench. He tugged on the hyena's pant leg and pointed it out as a good place to talk.
"Oh nice, you found a free bench," Miguno said cheerfully. "Way to go big guy."
The three canines put down their things as Jack began explaining his situation. The labrador told his friends about what he had talked to Collot and Durham about as promised and explained everything he figured out while on his walk. Jack also explained that while he was happy to have finally come to terms with much of what has been bothering him, he was still unsure about why he wanted to be closer to Legosi.
The two looked at each other, they didn't know what to make of it. They both understood wanting to be closer to someone, but nothing like what Jack described.
"Maybe you've been wanting to get a bit closer to Legosi this whole time," Miguno explained. "And what's been happening in the past few weeks made it more noticeable."
Voss made a series of complicated hand movements and Miguno nodded in agreement, "Exactly Voss! When you're in a very stressful situation and someone helps to pull you out of it, sometimes your feelings towards that person can become stronger."
"Unfortunately that doesn't help too much in finding out exactly when these feelings started, more just when they became noticeable," the hyena shook his head sadly.
Voss thought of something that might help. He climbed on to Jack's shoulder and gave the labrador a few chin scratches.
Jack closed his eyes, enjoying the comfort the fennec fox was giving him.
After a few minutes, Voss made talking motions with his hands to tell Jack that he had to talk to Legosi about what he's feeling.
"Thanks Voss," the yellow dog responded. "You're right. The only way to move past this is by talking to him directly."
Jack thanked his friends and started heading to the park to meet Legosi. He was still hesitant to tell Legosi about this strange desire of his, but knew it had to be done.

Meanwhile Legosi, who was on the other side of the campus, was also walking to the park. He was eager to spend time with Jack, especially after all the craziness over the past few days. Just as he was exiting the school gates however, the wolf was suddenly stopped by Louis.
"Hello Legosi," said the red deer in a stern yet friendly tone.
"H-Hello Louis-senpai!" the wolf said nervously as he bowed his head.
Louis put a hand up, "Now, now, there is no need for that." The herbivore shook his head, "I simply came to talk to you about something."
Legosi raised his head, "O-Ok Louis, but can it be quick? I promised to meet up with my friend."
"No need to worry, I won't keep you," Louis responded. "I just came to check up on you and make sure you're doing alright. I heard about how you've been hiding since the play and wanted to know your situation."
