"Yeah and I remember during those trips, you would cancel most of them and it would just be me and mom bonding" you said as you took a bite of each item and a sip of your orange juice.
Jensen took a bite of his burrito and just nodded. "I know and I'm working on it" He said as he finished it. "Like you were working on your marriage to mom?" You snarked back before getting in the front seat of the truck. "This is going to be fun" Jensen said to himself as he got in the truck himself.
As Jensen pulled up the address of where he was going, he heard a knock on his door and rolled down the window to see Danneel with a container of food. "Okay, I have enough here to last you both for two days, you might want to go buy more food since you're going to be gone for a week." "I also emailed her counselor letting her know that, she's not going to school for a week, and to email her assignments to you for you to complete." Danneel said as she placed the food in the backseat of the truck and give Jensen a hug and you a wave.
"Just try to get to know her at least" "And try to limit the technology" Danneel said while looking at you and seeing you watching something on your phone. Danneel give Jensen a pat on the shoulder as she left and Jensen got back in the truck and begun the drive to the destination.
As Jensen drove, he noticed that you were on your phone quite frequently and it was something he took note of. He decided to play a common game he seen most teenagers play, "How about we put away the phone and let's have a discussion about what you said earlier" Jensen said as he drove. "Why it's true. There's nothing to be said" you said as you picked at your torn shorts. "Yeah okay." "But let's play a game, I'm willing to diverge some information." You stared at him as he drove and you couldn't help but noticed why your mom fell in love with your dad, what your brother got from him and what you got from him.
