"so we were kidnapped?" miya asked and langa nodded his head.

"pretty much." langa said and kiragi shook her head.

"this doesn't add up." kiragi said and then hopped on the counter. "so he kidnaps us, puts us in abusive homes, but builds this place? i don't get it."

"basically he wants to create a nation where abuse is normalized. here he manipulates them so they can become parents, who have that mind set, and get new kids to pass the cycle." reki said and langa nodded.

"he was the first kid to be taken and his dad really messed him up." langa said and scratched his chin. "i kind of feel bad."

"no" all of them said together. langa then blinked his eyes and reki looked at him.

"just because you've been abused, doesn't mean you need to do it and repeat the cycle." reki said and then scoffed. "there's no way in hell i'm ever abusing my kids." reki said and langa nodded his head.

"let's move on to not start an argument." miya said and langa nodded. "so we're in a forest?"

"pretty much. there's like-"

"so basically, y'all are going to get killed by the monsters in the forest." kiragi said with a humorous voice. "have fun with that."

"shut up, kee." miya said and kiragi laughed. "all we have to do is pack some food in bags so we can like, survive out there, just in case."

"this is crazy." langa said and reki looked at him and bit his tongue.

"langa, you're not coming so you don't have to worry." reki said instead and langa looked at him.

"this can kill you." langa said and reki nodded his head.

"you're right, but please don't talk us out of it. it's our decision to make. you've made yours, so help us." reki said and langa paused.

he looked at everyone and miya had his head down expecting another fight. kiragi was once again, on the counter top leaning against the mirror. langa sighed.

"okay, no more discussing this topic. let's figure out a plan." langa said and reki smiled. langa smiled back at him and reki turned away quickly and langa furrowed his eyebrows. he thought he saw reki's ears go red.

"since you're transferring in like, less than a month now." miya said as he pretended to count with his fringes. "we need to think of something that's quick and that will help us get reki's sister back."

"i know this will probably sound all ninja movie and shit." kiragi said and everyone looked at her. "but the staff wear uniforms, if we can take one down, then maybe we can disguise ourselves as one."

"or you know, we can just steal one like a normal human being." miya said as he shrugged his shoulders and kiragi gave him the hand.

"what a party pooper, but i guess that's safer." kiragi said and miya nodded.

"that's smart. so then reki could pretend to be a guard and take his sister." langa said and reki pointed at langa.

"smart." reki said and langa nodded his head.

"okay so we got packing food and playing dress up" kiragi said and everyone looked at her. "i got a med kit and i barely use it so y'all can take that."

"okay good." reki said as he nodded his head and everyone nodded along. "we don't leave until we have a good food supply." reki said and they all nodded again.
