"how much food do we have?" miya said as he side eyed langa who was siting on the recliner and reki was looking at the bookshelves.

kira and miya were on their floor coloring trying not to draw attention to themselves.

"we only made about a weeks worth for three people." reki whispered as he took out a book and opened it.

miya sighed and looked down. kiragi then looked up from her coloring book and she kicked miya in his shin. he then grabbed his shin and silently yelled. like he yelled but no noise came from his mouth.

"you guys have to leave soon." kiragi said and miya rubbed his shin but paid attention. langa continued pretending the be asleep and reki was fake reading the book.

"rumor has it that koji is drugging the patients to the point that they're barely operational. like they can't function like a normal sober person."

"he's turning them into drug addicts?" miya asked and kira snapped her fingers at him and nodded her head.

"exactly that. it could be to keep them from leaving. he feeds them drugs right? why would they leave when they have shelter and free drugs?" kira said and langa shook his head.

"he's going to force everyone to turn to his side since people aren't willingly doing it." langa said and miya and reki looked at each other.

"depending on what he's giving them, the fastest someone can become addicted has to be a week. a week and a half if they try fighting it." kiragi said and reki peeked over from his book.

"how do you know this?"

"shoutout to my grandmother." kiragi said and everyone nodded their heads getting the idea. "anyways, if he comes and drugs us too, you'll need to get out of here in three day tops."

"why three days?" langa asked and kiragi picked up the yellow crayon and continued coloring.

"after three days of continued drugging, your body will start feening for it." kiragi said and langa sighed.

"well, i'd rather be out there than go where ever it is i'm being transferred to." langa said and reki looked at him.

"what about food?" miya asked and kiragi looked at the boys.

"when you guys were in your homes, how many meals did you have a day?" kiragi asked and they all stood silent.

"i had only one and some days i didn't have even that." langa said and they all nodded their heads as well.

"it'll be like that. you're just going to have to ration the food to last until y'all get out the woods and find something." kiragi said and the boys looked at each other.

"okay." miya said and picked up his red crayon.

langa then but his lip because in three days they had to leave. they needed all their food they can get and they needed the escape plan.

"about the escape plan-"

"hey, koji might have people in here that are on his side. just say wood walking." kiragi said and langa furrowed his eyebrows.

"wood walking?"

"y'all are going to be walking in the woods?" kiragi said as if it wasn't obvious but langa shrugged her off.

"about wood walking.." langa said and kiragi nodded her head. "..what are we doing?"

"taking a suit from the staff and getting reki's sister. then we dip." miya said and langa sighed.

"how are we going to get by unseen with bags of food, a few shirts and bottoms and one guard with two patients plus three when we get koyomi?" langa asked and they all stood silent.
