everyone walked to the cafeteria to get ready for their last dinner ever in this place.
langa was feeling a little bit of different emotions and he doesn't know which emotion he should be feeling the most. more importantly, which one is the right feeling to be feeling in a moment like this.
he is super excited to get out into the world. then again, this has been his home for a very long time. not his home, but his shelter. it feels bittersweet leaving. especially since kiragi won't be going with them.
he's going to miss all the sweet lunch ladies who do nothing wrong but serve them food. he was going to miss the people who were on the right side of this entire thing.
he felt so guilty for leaving them behind but he had to put himself first for once.
he wasn't going to miss koji that's for damn sure. he wasn't going to miss the manipulation in here that tried to make you believe you deserved the abuse you got. it was never deserved and will never be justified.
langa scoffed to himself. mostly because he was embarrassed by his actions. how easily manipulated he was just because someone told him they loved him. then again, that's all he wanted to hear and koji took advantage of that.
with reki, it was different and langa felt it with every sense he had. koji never ever looked at langa the way reki does. koji's eyes are full of neediness while reki's were full of love
reki never ever threatened langa and he one hundred percent believes and will continue believing that he won't. koji has. that's not love. thats manipulation and abuse.
langa finished his food and they all looked at each other. kiragi nodded and langa nodded back at her. langa then grabbed his tray and stood up.
"relaxation room. two minutes. all your stuff." kiragi whispered as langa walked by her and he heard and understood.
he threw away his food and placed the tray in the tray pile on the table that was next to the garbage bin. he then turned around and walked out and from the corner of his eye, he saw reki get up. they were going to get up after someone had already left so it wouldn't look suspicious.
langa walked to his room and he looked down the hallway before shutting his door. he shut the door and as soon as he heard it click closed, he ran to his bed.
he got out the gym bag he had when he first came here. as a reminder of your past, you were only allowed to keep the bags you brought your things in. some weird fascination koji had. langa never really understood it but now he's kind of glad he could keep it.
the bag was full of the packaged goods that langa has been getting during his lunches. it wasn't much, but it was something that could get them out and far enough.
langa grabbed a hospital shirt, the matching pants and a gown just in case. he shoved it in the gym bag and he zipped it up.
now came one of the many hard parts. get to the relaxation room without being seen by staff or any patients. easy.
langa exhaled and inhaled hard. he wet up to the to the door and slightly opened it. he peeked out one way and checked the other way. when he saw the coast was clear he then sighed.
"here we go." langa whispered to himself and he ran to the hallway across from him. he had the easiest part. his was the closest to the relaxation room while miya's was the farthest.
now that he thought of it. miya should have gone first since he's the farthest. whatever, no going back. so langa ran down the hallway and turned left at the end. then he peeked in through the windows and he saw no one in the relaxation room.
