#58. Jail Break

"Relax, V. Mera expertise hai escape mein. Kyu tension le rahi hai. Abhi toh bas tumhare dad ke saath hide and seek khel raha hun."

Sam moved around with Vanshika.

"Vanshika, mujhe pata tum yahi kahin ho. Abhi bahar aao." Mayank tried warn. From the top of stairs, a song started playing. Papa jag jaayega from Housefull. Vanshika put her hand on her mouth to keep herself from laughing out at that.

Mayank quickly went up the stairs and tried to follow the sound but it kept moving. Vanshika saw a remote control in Sam's hands. Mayank caught the jacket thinking Vanshika was under it in her snake form but turns out it was Rishi's remote-control car.

Mayank was irritated by now. This boy had by far tried to test his patience.

"Tu haath lag mere, cheel. Tere pankhon se apna ghar nahi sajaya toh dekh le." Mayank answered.

"Kya dekhu? Sorry, dude, mujhe ladkiyo mein interest hai." Sam answered Mayank came down and tried to look for the voice. A smoke bomb was set off in the living room everywhere, the smell from the smoke bomb was overwhelming enough to cover their scent.

"Main bol raha hun. Abhi ke abhi saamne aa. Peeche se kya waar kar rahe ho." Mayank challenged.

"Arrey, daddyji, kuch bhi bol rahe ho? Kabhi suna hai cheel samne se waar karte hai? Nah. Cheel asmaan se hamla karte hai. Sudden ambush." Sam answered.

Mayank was getting enraged with this chase game. He changed into his snake form and used the heat vision to find where Sam was. He saw another warm-blooded body around. That was confusing. There were two people? The problem with heat vision was that he couldn't see faces. It only sensed body heat. Naag-Naagins didn't show up on the heat vision. They were cold-blooded like their animal counterparts. Hence, they can't bear much cold.

"Daddyji, kahan. Iss taraf." Sam shouted. Mayank slithered up behind that voice. Someone grabbed him by the tail and pulled back. Mayank switched off the heat vision to see Rishi and Kartik running off. Another smoke bomb had been set off. Mayank switched on his heat vision again and now he couldn't sense the heat body in the same place. They ran off to some other place. Mayank hissed loudly in anger.

"Dad tumhe maar hi daalenge." Vanshika was panicking.

"V, shut up, yaar." Sam shut her up.

Mayank sensed heat body on the floor above and slithered up there. Veer had managed to get Bani out of the room and took her with him. Once again someone pulled him by the tail. Mayank hissed wildly. But he heard hissing back. The whole trap worked. Rishi and Kartik trapped in a snake catcher bag.

"Rishi, Kartik..." Mayank hissed.

Veer grabbed Bani's hand. The two started running while Mayank was freeing himself.

"Kon hai?" Mayank demanded. He tried to recognize the scent but the Veer had put on a bit too much perfume to let Mayank smell his original scent. Mayank tried to follow them but then He smelled Sam's scent with Vanshika's.

"Vanshika..." He called out. In that process, he clashed against someone.

"Ouch!! Mayank, pagal ho gaye ho kya?" Amar shouted at Mayank.

"Amar, hat. Woh cheel ladka hai yahan." Mayank pushed away Amar and tried to run behind the scent.

While Mayank was behind Sam and Vanshika, Veer and Bani escaped through the door. Rishi and Kartik had found a way to cut through Mayank's magic. Veer had removed the bel leaves from the door while Mayank was running around looking for Sam.
