Jake's POV
"Do you think Jungwon will change? After the transition," I wondered pealing my eyes off from the beautiful reflection of the moon, shining down on the surface of the lake to look at the vampire beside me.
"Jake, Jungwon will still be himself, he is his own person. The only problem here is he'd have a strong urge to drink blood, but thats not a problem, I could teach him how to control it, just like I taught Ni-Ki. And he'd gain supernatural abilities, thats a good thing right?"
I nodded and let out a shaky breath, "Jungwon's sister called him on his phone plenty of times, I dont know what to say to her, she is the only family who cares about him!"
"Don't worry about it. If she calls again, pick it up and make up some lie. We'll talk this through once Jungwon wakes up alright? Everything will be okay"
I nodded with a small smile. Everything I needed at the moment was some assurance. I was less distressed after the little confession we had earlier. I was still surprised how a heated argument turned out the way it did, but I felt at peace knowing that Sunghoon liked me back. I finally accepted my feelings for him. I never would've imagined that he had feelings for me. The very thought made my stomach flutter in various emotions. We decided on taking things slow, giving this whole thing some time to figure out and not to tell our friends until we are sure about this. To be honest, I'm glad we were on the same page with this whole thing but I cannot help the giddy feeling hidden in my heart whenever our eyes met. I let out another shaky breath and caressed my arms looking up at the sky once again.
"Are you cold?" Sunghoon asked,
I shook my head and lied, " No, wolves dont get cold"
"Well, but it's a little too cold for not wearing a Jacket. Want mine?"
"Wolves are resistant enough to walk around without jackets" I shrugged,
"Yeah yeah, wolves and their abilities. Heard they're good at tracking down scents too"
"Well, yeah" I replied with a smug smile.
"Can you sniff out one of my socks I lost last week, I cant seem to find it anywhere" He smirked, looking at my scandalized expression.
I shoved him away with my body, " I'm not a police dog!"
He laughed, a beautiful noise to my ears.
"Sorry I roasted you, I was trying to flirt," He said coming back closer to me. I tried to hide the smile which was threatening to unfold, "you suck at it" I replied with a chuckle.
"As if you are any good" He challenged, looking straight into my eyes.
"Apparently I am, cus you like me now don't you?"
"Then that makes me a good flirt too, cus you like me back, don't you?" He countered
"That I doo, but we have to test your skills first. Flirt with me." I said, surprised at my own bravery. My brother would be so proud. An amused smile spread across Sunghoon's face as he raised an eyebrow at me.
