JAKE'S POV
Jungwon sat up, an angry, distressed look took over his face. With his eyes looking drained and red, and his face turning paler than any human could conjure, it was positive to say I was scared.
No one spoke a word, as I observed my friend's eyes roam all over the room in confusion, he slapped a hand over his mouth in shock. Thats when I realised, he started to remember what had happened. He started to breathe heavily and shut his ears tightly as if someone was playing high volume music near him, his eyes watered in panic. He was having a panic attack. I moved closer promptly and placed my hand carefully on his shoulder, trying to search for his eyes with my own.
"Jungwon-" He slapped my hand away harshly, and yelled, "stay away from me!"
Sunghoon moved forward and pulled me behind him in a defensive gesture. He scrunched down to Jungwon's eye level, placed both of his hands on either side of his shoulder and made him look directly into his eyes.
He slowly spoke out the words while his pupils shrunk, almost to a dot, "Jungwon, you are safe. Clam down."
As if a switch was turned off, Jungwon visibly relaxed. His breathing evened out and tears fell from his drowsy eyes.
I frowned deeply, "Sunghoon did you just hypnotise him?!"
"No but It's something like that, lets talk about this later okay? ", I hesitantly nodded. I dont think vampires can hypnotise or compel other vampires.
" Jungwon, how are you feeling?" I asked cautiously.
"Jake- I, I dont know, I can hear the water dripping from the tap, it's so damn loud, my head is going to burst. I'm hungry and thirsty, my teeth are hurting so much. A-And I heard Jay, in my sleep, I was not unconscious, I could hear everyone. I-I heard you all, talk about Vampires, wolves- I'm so scared Jake," He wiped his tears, as they kept falling from his eyes. My heart hurt seeing him like that, tears prickled my eyes as I pulled my best friend into my arms for an embrace. I patted his back. I didnt know what to say, I felt guilty and helpless.
"Everything's gonna be alright now, okay? If I could turn back time I would Jungwon, I was scared too. I can only imagine what you went through. We'll explain everything soon, for now, try to take deep breaths and relax." I spoke in a low tone, scared to raise my voice even by a decibel. Jungwon was a Vampire now, he'd be developing every supernatural ability a vampire has, which includes being extremely sensitive to sound and visions. Until he'd get used to it, he'll have a hard time shutting out sounds as every sense will be heightened for him.
".....J-Jungwon" a broken sob, brought both of our attention towards the door, where Jay stood fresh from the shower, a towel around his neck and hair still wet.
