3rd Person's POV
Jake blinked the shock out of his eyes, if it weren't for the arms of the stranger holding him right now, he would've slipped again. He needed to get back to the railing to get a supportive balance.
"Thank you so much! I would've slipped again for the hundredth time now!" Jake said with a light chuckle,
A small frown took over the stranger's face, "oh you're learning how to skate all by yourself? Impressive!"
At least someone's impressed with me. The young wolf thought at the back of his mind, he was still shocked how deep the stranger's voice was. He glided a short distance and leaned his back against the rail, both hands stretched on either side as the stranger stood in front of him,
"Yes, well I suck at it so not that impressive I guess." He replied to the previously asked question.
"No, no don't say that. You know what, maybe I can teach you. If you'd like that."
Jake was taken aback by the offer, extremely handsome and kind? Definitely a kidnapper. But he did need help, it would be quite good if he could master skating with the help of this stranger, he could go back as soon as possible and show off to the Vampire.
"I would kill for help, I mean I dont actually kill people unless you steal my Oreos or hurt my pet dog. But yeah I would like some help!" Jake rumbled, making the man laugh at him amusedly.
"You're a funny guy!" The freckled man said, his eyes giving the wolf a quick once over. The second time he got checked out that day but the wolf was too oblivious to bother.
"And you're a kind guy!" Jake replied for which he received a shy shrug.
"Name is Felix by the way,"
"Nice to meet you, Felix, I'm Jake!"
"Jake," Felix played the words on his tongue testing them, he continued "it's a pretty name"
Jake raised both his eyebrow before he laughed "Jake is the most basic name in the world tho"
"Well, it's the first time I'm seeing a Jake with a beautiful smile"
Dude, he's flirting. Jake's conscious spoke, finally realising that the stranger was interested in him. Not knowing what to say in return he opened and closed his mouth several times, he rendered him speechless. Felix's eyes drifted from Jake's to something behind him and his smile dropped.
