Jake's POV
"Get out already its been half an hour" Jay shouted as I took my time in the shower. This was the first time he spoke to me after our argument yesterday.
"Buzz off, use your own bathroom" I shouted back, massaging my head with the shampoo.
"Mine is clogged, you know that. What are you even doing in there? Having a spa session?" He asked, banging on the door this time. Ahh, he's so annoying.
"Yea, what's wrong with taking care of my skin? It'll take another half an hour, come back later ." I announced and turned on my Bluetooth speaker to cancel out his noise.
I didnt even tell him about today's night camp. I had been thinking a lot about my new found attraction towards my mortal enemy. I was pretty torn and yet to know if I was attracted to him because he's good looking and hot or cus I actually have feelings for him. I honestly didnt know. But one thing I did know was that I was excited for today.
I got out of the shower feeling fresh and clean and Jay was sitting right there on my bed playing with Layla. I sighed, "can't you use the bathroom in our parent's room!"
"Why what are you hiding in yours? A secret imaginary boyfriend?" He laughed.
"Shut up! Get ready quickly, I promised Sunghoon that we'll be joining them for stargazing this evening."
He stood up from the bed, " You promised Sunghoon? Interesting" he cooed and I gave him a glare in reply.
"Yeah, well, yeah. Anyways, everyone is coming, Jungwon too. Whatever you two have been fighting about settle it out today. Heard it's one of those days when the sky is full and beautiful. Sounds like a romantic date for me, I don't want you missing out on it. So apologise to Jungwon" I said, no matter how much we argued he was still my brother and I always wanted the best for him.
He smiled at me, "I will."
"Wait are you crying?" I teased pointing a finger at him for which he scoffed in return.
"I'm sorry about yesterday Jake, I shouldn't have lashed out on you like that. I should've put things in a better way and talked to you properly."
I frowned, "what do you mean?"
He sighed, "Jake, I know that you like Sunghoon. It's just that, I want you to be happy, you deserve love but you are not willing to receive it. It's your instinct, you always push people away. But it's okay, it's okay to allow yourself to be with someone. Dont be oblivious baby brother. I just want you to be open to things okay?"
