Jake's POV
My brother was apparently "mad" at me for pulling that stunt yesterday. I told him what happened and of course, he yelled at me and pulled his hair in frustration, I was hoping this reaction but I couldn't keep something like that from him. He threatened to drown me in water, that too in my wolf form. He knew I hated water, my parents had to hold me down to bathe my wolf. I hated to bath in my wolf form. He even threatened to call our parents but, I pulled my famous guilty wolf 'please' face and no one could resist that, not even my brother. I recited him a speech of how guilty I was for going behind his back. Well, I didn't mean to go behind his back I was just so curious, but thanks to me at least we have some answers.
He said I was grounded for the whole weekend and I couldn't talk about anything related to "Vampires".
The whole day was plain boring, Jay loved to stay indoors so he was just chilling in the living room watching tv while I was playing catch with our dog Layla, people think that werewolves and dogs dont get along but that's a myth we get along really well. Even Layla got bored with me after a while, it left me for a stupid toy bone Jay bought him. Layla's a traitor. So I was basically sulking in my room, playing Mario on my laptop to kill boredom when someone came to free me like an angel.
It was Haruto. Haruto was this good looking dude from school, a junior and a council member's Son. The town had this committee where the members of the council knew about our existence, they helped us in keeping our existence unknown and other external issues in the town. Haruto lived in our area, I've known him my entire life just like I've known Jungwon. He's pretty decent. Even Jungwon was friends with him, he was a popular kid in school. He came to invite us. he was throwing a party for his birthday, I was already filled with joy. Finally, something fun to do this weekend. Jay agreed to go after a lot of deliberation. I knew he'd give in, he wouldn't miss Haruto's party for anything they both were pretty close.
" It's going to be fun. Let me call Jungwon or should we pick him up on the way-"
"There is no we. I am going to the party and you mister, you're grounded." Jay told, folding his hands over his chest.
"Oh come on brother, Cut me some slack. Take me with you, it's Haruto's birthday party, I don't want to miss it."
"I'll tape the party for you to watch it later. Now move out of my way, I need to get dressed"/
I stood in front of him and dropped my hands on his shoulder, " Jay, please. Im bored out of my mind. I learnt my lesson. I won't lie to you again, or go behind your back."/ I looked into his eyes with pleading eyes.
"Why should I trust you? You went after those vampires twice without telling me."
"I won't do that again, believe me. I'm not interested in them anymore. I won't go after them"/
