"A Vampire" Jake whispered unbelievably.

The said person stood right in front of him, gazing at him blankly. He was pale and a bit taller than Jake, his eyes were so cold like the ice, intriguing. A weird sense of power was radiating off of him. And the worst of all he was not alone, Jake felt a same uneasy feeling again. A smaller and shorter young boy stood behind the Cold eyed Vampire.

Another Vampire!? Jake thought and scowled.

The other Vampire smelled somewhat dead, who was he kidding Vampires are dead humans after all. He could sense his emotions, he felt fear and sadness. The best thing about being a Werewolf was he could smell anyone's emotions. He was still wondering and processing the sudden arrival of these Vampires when he was cut off from his thoughts,

"Excuse me but, can you get out of my way," The pale, cold eyes asked.

Jake all but frowned, something didn't sit well with him. He hadn't met a Vampire before, but all he knew was they were not supposed to be here. Their town was supposed to be Vampire-free. Something was not right.

"Not before you tell me why are you both here" Jake asked bravely,

"To study. This a school, what are we supposed to do?" The Vampire asked, while the shorter one just hid behind.

Jake chuckled, "yeah sure. Like I believe any of that. What do you want from our town? "

"Get out of the way before-"

"Sunghoon, let's just go. We didn't come here to fight" the shorter Vampire said, Sunghoon frowned but nodded.

"We are new here. That's it, we don't want anything." Sunghoon cleared and walked head bumping his shoulder against Jake's to make the way to his class.

If Jake was suspicious before, he was furious now. He wanted to find his brother but he had class. The classes passed by, Sunghoon was in three of his classes, and Jake was annoyed all day. He didn't confront him anymore after his brother warned him not to go anywhere near him. While Sunghoon went around answering all the questions, being a goody-two-shoes and gaining everyone's interest, Jake sat down observing him and stopping himself from fighting him. Jake couldn't brush off the negative energy he felt, he wanted to remove Sunghoon's filter.

The school bell rang and everyone hurried off from the place, Jake found Jay and Jungwon chatting away outside the parking lot. Jake went in from behind and shouted to scare them. Jungwon jumped in fright while Jay knew Jake was sneaking up on them, thanks to his supernatural abilities.

"You idiot! You didn't have to do that!" Jungwon smacked his shoulder with a playful smile while Jake laughed.

"Sorry for interrupting you both" Jake said, Jay glared at him.

"Okay, So arcade at 6?" Jungwon asked

"Yep, we'll be there," Jake said.

"Want me to drop you both off at your house, I see you didn't get your car?" Jungwon asked,

"No, we'll run," Jay told

Jungwon looked at them ridiculously.

Jake "ha ha just kidding. We have something to do on our way, we'll catch a taxi"

Jungwon nodded at Jake, "okay whatever. Get there on time, I'm not waiting for your ass!"

"But you'll wait for my brother's ass?" Jake asked playfully smiling from ear to ear.

"Shut up!" Jay and Jungwon said in unison.

Jungwon left after that, leaving the two brothers alone. Jay punched him in the chest after he left, " Stop doing that, you idiot"

"Can't help it brother" Jake snickered, "Ready for a run?"

"Always!" Jay

As they reached home, they greeted a few pack members on the way. All of his pack, that is, the werewolf community of the town stayed in this colony. It was in the outskirts but nearer to the woods so the place was preferred. After a lot of thinking Jake finally asked,

"What do you think they want? The Vampires?"

Jay sighed, "Jake listen I don't want you to get involved in any of this. Do you understand? Not all vampires are bad, the war ended a long time ago. They won't hurt you, or humans."

"I don't believe that. How can you be so sure Jay, they might hurt us."

"Jake, there are two of them. We have our whole pack. We can protect ourselves."

" I don't know!! But remember dad said their grandparents were killed by a bunch of vampires even after the war ended. Didn't we hear the news of few Vampires killing around innocent humans aimlessly to feed on them. I don't want anyone to get hurt, I don't want my friends to get hurt. They are roaming around in the school--"

Jay placed his hands on Jake's shoulder to calm him down, he looked into his eyes and answered "Jake. They'll be okay. We won't let anything happen to your friends or anyone. They seem harmless so far. Let mom and dad come back. We'll figure it out after that!"

Jake sighed but nodded hesitantly.

"Now get rid off all your negative thoughts and help me pick an outfit . I want to impress Jungwon"

Jake smiled. "On it! brother. Maybe you should go shirtless, Jungwon likes his men hot-"

A pillow landed on Jake's face.
