"No alcohol, No parties, no getting into physical fights with humans, I don't want you shifting in front of everyone on impulse"
"Dad, For god's sake when did I ever-"
"I'm not done yet, Jake. No drugs, No getting girls pregnant, No getting boys pregnant-"
Jake gasped, clearly taken aback by the joke, "Thats not even possible! Your sense of humour is that of a dolphin."
"Well, I'm sorry. Making sure my Son doesn't get hurt" Jake rolled his eyes at that. Jake's father was a tall, middle-aged man. Though he looked much younger, he was quite old by number. Jake had the same eyes as his father, brown when human and amber when wolf. Jake's father loved both his sons dearly.
"You're at it again, don't scare him off Kev, let him enjoy his youth, don't listen to your dad I bought you some ice cream darling," Jake's mother said walking in from the door carrying few shopping bags alongside her eldest son Jay.
"You spoil him so much!" Sighed Jake's father, Kevin.
"Hey baby bro, mom and I got you new clothes, thought you needed them after you ripped all of your clothes during the transition," Jay said, tasting his ice cream.
Jake rolled his eyes and groaned, " Why do you all treat me like this. I'm not a baby, I can handle myself!"
"Sure you can, now Jay you know what you have to do, take care of each other while we're gone. Make sure he's in control, he still didn't learn how to control his transition. " Jay's mother, Sylvie explained with a faint warning in her tone.
Their father added, "and also stay away from trouble. We'll be leaving in the afternoon."
"We'll be fine. You guys have fun. " Jay assured, stealing Jake's ice cream to have a taste.
Transition. Every werewolf turns into a wolf at a certain age for the first time. Its known that transforming into a wolf for the first time is the most painful. Jake transformed for the first time. And that was last month. Jake didn't go to school for the whole month, he stayed at the woods and mastered the transition. Their parents and Jay helped him get through it. Jay was his older brother, he was just a few years older than him but Werewolves aged slowly. They both look 17. They both eent to school and to live their lives as humans and back home they spend time with their pack and family.
Jake was finally going back to school, they had to tell the principal that he got into an accident to explain the one month break. Ironically, he was breaking his bones and turning into a wolf at the woods. He was still not used to it, whenever he felt immense anger or when he was upset Jake would turn into a wolf. But with his brother around, Jake felt safe.
