Alex's POV
My jaw drops slightly, me then covering my mouth and I feel my face heat up and I can feel Jacks eyes on me. I'll give him a lyric later and a girl goes over to sit in Jacks lap, they kiss and she starts talking and oh my god, what a player. I mumble "they together?" Rian nods mumbling "yeah, you interested?" I say "getting up to date on school gossip" biting my lip and shrugging and he says "there's a lot of it, I wish you luck." I say "I'm sure I'll get it all" biting my lip and he says "maybe you will" and I say "don't doubt me" biting my lip. The girl comes over to me and says "omg, you're so cute" and she pulls in another chair on the other side of the desk and I say "oh my god, whatever you do for your hair is just fabulous." She says "thank you!" I say "totally, who does your nails?" She gives me her hand and says "this guy over at the salon down the street, his boyfriend is so hot" saying the last part quietly. We laugh and she says "omg, are you coming to the party later?" I say "I don't know, I haven't decided yet." I really don't want to be friends with her, so why not lie? She seems nice but I don't like her, something seems off, oh yeah, she's dating the guy that was just up on me earlier. She says "your lipgloss is just gorgeous, where did you get it?" I say "it's glossier" and she says "omg, of course it is it's gorg, I've still been planning on buying some, is it worth it cause I only got twenty bucks to my name at the moment." We laugh and I say "the twelve is so worth it, I promise" and she says "I'm gonna have to get some then, I'm Ashley by the way" and I say "Alex" and we laugh. She says "I wanna know where you shop, you're so hot, teach me your ways" and I chuckle saying "totally, thank you!" She says "you're so welcome!" I say "you're so pretty" and she says "thank you! Ok, I gotta go before the teacher tries to commit murder" and we laugh and she kisses my cheek and struts off. She likes me, perfect, why am I making her like me, what the fuck am I doing? Whatever. I sit back down and I wait out the rest of this godamn class. I go to my next class and this big guy sits next to me and he says "sup?" I say "nothing much, sup with you?" He smiles saying "nothing much, waiting for break then waiting for the day to be over" and I say "me too" and he says "it's your first day, can't be too bad" and I say "first days suck sometimes but this ones not so bad" and Oli comes and sits next to me. I say "surprised you haven't been expelled yet" and Oli says "there would be police sirens if I were, you'd know pretty quickly." I say "I know, I'm still impressed though" chuckling and he says "me too, everyone here hates me already" and I say "cause you decided to confront one of the most popular people here, Oliver." He says "yeah, I did" and I say "good luck getting in with the football team" chuckling and Zack says "I can get you in, Jack might not like it too much but I could if you want to play and not kill anyone, Jack's easy going, he'll get over it quickly." Oli says "sick" and Zack says "coach is also Jacks dad so it'll be interesting, Jack worked for his placement on the team, so don't think he's there because his dads picking favorites." Oli says "I can get behind that, I just don't like the guy" and I say "now we change the subject before a riot starts. What have you been doing all day?" Oli says "school cause I'm a good kid" and I roll my eyes, sarcastically saying "ok" and the teacher walks in and Oli mumbles "holy shit, that teacher is hot as fuck" and I mumble "you have a boyfriend" and he says "shut up." I say "you do!" He says "were not talking about that here" and he doesn't want to be out to this school yet, alright, I can respect that, probably wants to get a stable life going before he does anything else here. I would've done that but I didn't feel like it plus I don't have to get in with anything that might require me to be straight like it does with certain football teams, like the last school. I bite my lip and the teacher starts talking and I mumble "yup, he's hot" and Oli mumbles "he is, I told you" and I mumble "he has nice hair. He's dreamy" and Oli mumbles "he's not my type but oh my god, he is hot" and we chuckle and suddenly I pay more attention in this class.
An hour later
Oli says "finally" as the bell rings and we chuckle and Zack says "you wanna hang out with us?" I say "if our friends don't eat each other, sure" and we chuckle and Oli hits my shoulder and I say "I'll fight you" and we chuckle. We walk outside and I say "what do we do when something ticks us off?" Oli says "walk away" and I say "will you actually do that?" He says "yes" and I say "if not?" He says "not tell anyone" and I say "no, we tell Josh" and he says "you're telling him about the morning thing anyway right?" I say "yeah, I am" and he groans saying "no, please don't" and Zack chuckles saying "must be really suffering over there" and I say "yeah" and Oli says "I'll pay you" and I say "that doesn't work, babe" and he says "come on, anything. Just don't tell Josh" and I say "do you want to tell Josh?" He groans saying "fine" and Jack comes over and sits opposite side of the circle and I lean on Oli and I say "are you going to do it or do you want me to do it?"
