Alex's POV
Oli and I walk to my house and we decided to meet Josh there and I say "who's car is that?" Josh, who is sitting on the front steps, says "no clue, was there when I got here" and Oli helps him up and we go inside and I say "woah" immediately covering my eyes. I say "get dressed and get out of my damn house" crossing my arms and my dad says "what the hell are you wearing?" The woman covers up and gets dressed and says "you said you were single and lived alone, you asshole!" The girl comes up to me saying "I'm so sorry, honey, my dad cheated on my mom when I was your age and I vowed I'd never do that to someone else, I'm so sorry" and she's practically crying. I bite my lip saying "you're fine, my dad is a lying cheating asshole" and she says "I'm so sorry, honey" and my dad gets dressed, great, fuck on the kitchen counter. She leaves and Josh mumbles "I'm sorry, Alex" and I say "it's ok, I never liked him anyway" a bit louder so my dad can hear it. Josh says "I never liked him either" quietly and my dad comes back saying "this is my house, you can't kick me out" and I say "get out of my house, you can come back tonight and tell mom what is happening." He says "I pay for this house" and I say "and you'll be kicked out by tomorrow, how does that work? Hmm, I wonder, now get out of my damn house before I drag you" and he says "fucking fag" and Oli grabs his shirt collar saying "I'll fucking curb stomp you, you fucking piece of shit." Then he leaves, finally. I say "nice" and we go to my room and Oli says "you seriously aren't phased by this?" I say "I've been waiting for something like this to happen so my parents divorce, my mom isn't going to be surprised, it's been bound to happen for the past like four years" shrugging. I say "I mean it sucks, yeah but I've been waiting for it, ya know?" Josh says "understandable" shrugging and we go to my room and I say "yay, tomorrow is Saturday, what do you wanna do?" Oli says "mmm, maybe skateboarding?" Josh says "I'm sleeping all weekend" and we chuckle and I say "I want ice cream" and Oli say "we have practice this weekend" and I say "can we go?" Oli says "why?" I say "I like watching boys sweat and do push ups" and Josh says "and I like to watch you suffer" and we laugh and Oli says "sure, why not?" I say "yup, I need ice cream" nodding and we chuckle and I say "mmm, ice cream" and we lay around until it starts to get dark. Then I hear people arguing in the kitchen and Oli says "there's a practice tonight?! You've got to be kidding me" and I say "well, now I won't have to listen to them arguing" rubbing my forehead and we leave the house, we go to Oli's house, he gets his stuff and we go to the field. Josh and I sit on the bleachers and I say "time to watch them suffer" quietly and we laugh and Josh says "I enjoy watching my man suffer more than I should." We chuckle and I say "you might be a psychopath" and he says "mmm, no, probably more of a burning hatred for my boyfriend." I say "psychopath" and we laugh and he says "just a bit" and we laugh and we watch the guys condition and Josh mumbles "I think this is why I'm gay" and I say "watching guys workout?" He nods and I say "yeah, me too" resting my chin in my hand with my elbow on my knee and he says "you look really hot" and I say "thank you, I look like a cool mom" and we laugh. He says "you need a leather jacket then we'll talk" and we laugh and I say "like the super tight cropped ones with like an oversized sweater" and we laugh and he says "for sure" us chuckling. I say "leather jackets and sweaters are so cute together, maybe I'll do that with a skater skirt with those really tall boots, that sounds nice" and we chuckle. Josh says "you're nuts" and I say "but it would be cute!" He says "you could make a trash bag look cute, shut up" and we chuckle and I say "trash bags are cute, let them live, Joshua" us laughing. He says "trash bags, hottest man alive" and we laugh and I say "don't assume trash bags genders" us laughing even harder. I say "I'm a trash bag" and we laugh and Josh says "that's a new one" and I say "just a garbage can" and he says "me too" and we laugh. I bite my lip saying "you should convince Oli to buy me ice cream" and we laugh and Josh says "I want ice cream so badly now that you mention it" and we chuckle. We wait for their practice to end and Oli comes over and Josh says "no don't touch me, you're sweaty" and Oli says "you both are looking at me like you want something, what do you want?" We both smile and Josh says "ice cream" smiling innocently and Oli says "fine, I'm down" yawning and I say "yay!" Oli rolls his eyes at me saying "you both are children sometimes" and Josh says "go change, dumbass" smiling and Oli says "should it just be us or should I offer?" Josh says "I don't care, whatever you want, we just want ice cream in the end" and we chuckle and Oli says "ok" and I say "and you're paying" as he walks away. We chuckle and Jacks dad walks by me saying "I'm onto you" and I say "you're smart, I'm sure you are, to an extent" smiling and he chuckles. I mumble "no idea what he's on about" once he leaves and Josh and I laugh.
