(Y/N)'s pov

Ted, Chip, and I began to climb the clothing rope with Mono and Six trailing behind. We all crawled inside through the small window and shut it close to prevent any more rain from coming in. We jumped down and I began to squeeze my cape dry on the mat. I gave Ted a matchbox from my pouch and he uses it to lit up the fireplace. "Welcome to our hiding spot, make yourself home," I told our two new guests. Six sat in front of the fireplace, making herself warm as the Mono took off his coat and put it near the fireplace to dry.

He looked around to see many origamis all around the floor. "Wow, that's a lot of origamis around here," he said. I chuckled, "Well, it is all thanks to Chip. He has an obsession with making them everywhere we go." Chip went towards Mono and showed him his flower origami. "Woah, that's really cool," Mono complimented. Chip kept going back and forward, showing Mono the other origamis he made. "I apologize about him. He gets really excited to show off his works to others," I said. Mono beamed, "It's alright. These are amazing anyways. You know, me and Six passed by some paper airplanes earlier, I was wondering who made them." I walked over to the loot bag we have from the scavenging. "Oh, those? Yeah, we kinda did that whenever it stopped raining. It was my idea to keep us away from boredom," I explained. I searched through the bag and found the granola bars we found. I held two and walked over to Mono. "Here, take one. I'm sure you're both hungry," I motioned. (Quick A/N: The granola bars are the same size as the canned soda from the hospital) Mono grabs a granola bar from my arms and thanked me.

I went towards Six who is still warming herself from the fireplace. I squat down beside her and handed her a granola bar. "Here, take this." She took the bar, opened the wrapper, and took a bite. I chuckled as she tried thanking me with her mouth full. She proceeds to eat then looked at me, "You wan shom?" she asked while chewing. "No, I'm good. I ate one earlier while taking a break from scavenging through buildings." Looking to my right, I see Ted with his arms crossed, sitting on the armchair and observing everyone like a hawk. I stood up and went to him, jumping onto the chair and sat by him. "You seemed pretty lonely here, why won't make some new friends?" I joked. Ted dropped his arms down and replied back. 'They're strangers. We can't just trust people we just met.' I frowned at his statement, "I know what you meant, Ted. It is strange that they randomly came out of nowhere. But for now, it's best to let them stay with us from the storm."

We both look up to see Mono and Six near the fireplace, having a conversation. I look to the left to see Chip making another origami by the bookshelf. Ted looked at me then continue, 'Okay, fine. But please be careful, I can feel the strange aura towards the yellow warning sign girl.' I look back at the two guests and stare at the yellow raincoat girl. Based on what Ted warned me, I too can feel some strange vibes towards her. What's her name again? Six, right?

"Alright, I'll be careful. You be careful as well, we all need to be aware," I ended. I glance at Chip, who is now done with his creation, run across the room and showed them to the two guests. "Chip is quite excited to have more people around, I'm sure he's happy to make new friends," I commented, "Why don't we go up to them and get to know them?" Ted nodded and I jumped down the armchair. I help Ted down and we both walk towards the others.

"Uh... I choose three," said Mono. Chip opened the number three on his fortune-teller and shows the boy with the paper bag the results. Mono read the words to himself quietly with Six beside him. They both looked at the nome confusingly, who only to be answered with a shrug. (Y/N) and Ted stopped by the three and sat down with them. "Hey guys, how are you two doin- Woah, Chip! Is that a paper fortune teller?" (Y/N) exclaimed. Chip nodded happily and showed her what Mono got. The girl read the words out loud, "Your faith is bound to change forever..." She looked briefly at Mono with her eyebrow raised and stare at Chip. "Those are some interesting words you put there," she commented, "Where did you even get them from?" Chip puts his palms together then opened them, motioned book in sign language. He pointed to the spot where he made the origami, seeing a bunch of books opened with some art supplies on the floor. "Huh, weird... but alright I guess," the girl hummed and give Chip a little boop onto his cone tip where his paper boat was inserted.
