30 minutes have been passed already, or maybe more. Everyone laid on the cushion, fast asleep, or one may seem to be. Mono woke up from feeling the cushion moved a little and heard small footsteps that are now going away from him. He opened his eyes and turned his head to his left, seeing his friend with the yellow raincoat sleeping with her back facing him. He then turned his head to the right, noticing the nomes were there, but not the girl with the grey cape next to them. Mono sat up and looked around, she was nowhere to be seen. He turned his back and caught a glimpse of a figure on top of the sofa. He got off the cushion and silently went towards the sofa and began climbing. He looks to the top left side and sees (Y/N), who still has her cape on. She was sitting at the edge of the top cushion of the sofa that cannot be remove. Her head faced towards the window, watching the rain hitting the glass.

"Psst," Mono called.

(Y/N) turned her head to see the boy who called her. She gasps, "What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be asleep?"

"I should be the one asking you that," shot back Mono.

(Y/N) let out a sigh, "I couldn't sleep. Plus, someone should be on the lookout. You?"

Mono climbed up and sat right next to her. "I felt the cushion moved a little and heard footsteps. I woke up to see you gone."

(Y/N) bit her lip, feeling guilty for waking him up accidentally. "Sorry about that."

Mono rubbed his neck, "It's alright, I am a light sleeper sometimes. I'm always aware around me, even when sleeping."

The girl fell silent and dropped her head down. Her mind was racing with thoughts that kept her awake. She can feel her head slowly hurting from stress. Then, a hand landed on her shoulder, and turned her head towards the boy with the paper bag. "Is there something wrong?" he asked.

She sighed. She couldn't keep it in any longer. "To be honest, I am scared, nervous, confused. I-I know we just met today and we shouldn't trust each other yet, and I just... I don't know..."

Mono frowned and let his hand down. He's saddened that she doesn't trust him but he gets it. (Y/N) continued, "L-Look, I'm sorry. It's just... I don't know what to do... Ted and Chip are the only ones I have, and I'm afraid that something bad may happen to them. I don't want to lose them, they're the only ones I have left."

The boy beside her sighed. "It's okay, I understand. And you are right; we shouldn't trust the people we just met-"

"But that's the thing, I trust you..." blurted (Y/N).

Mono looked at her surprised. "W-What?"

"For some reason, something tells me you're a trustworthy person. I... I don't know if it's just a gut feeling or whatever it is, but I do know I can trust you. It's like... I've known you before..."
