《 Chapter 5 》

Quick A/N: I changed the character's age to 14-15 years old. I figured that making the characters a bit older just to match the story and their maturity. Mono will still be the oldest as Six is the youngest. You can choose if you want your age to be 14 or 15.

(Y/N) pov

After spending 10 minutes outside in the rain, we decided to forage a nearby building since our food supply is cutting short. We found 2 canned foods and some spare batteries for my flashlight. I put the batteries inside my pouch and the three of us walked out of the building. Walking down the street we were before, we stopped in front of the same curtain rope we climbed down from. I looked around and spot a small shopping paper bag near the dumpster on the other side of the road. "Hey Chip, can you get that bag over there?" I asked. Chip nodded and crossed the road. He picked up the bag and head back towards us. I thanked him and I insert the can inside. Ted did the same thing and tied the rope to the handle of the bag. The three of us climbed up the curtain rope and crawled inside through the window. I took off my cape and help the nomes dried off. Ted and Chip helped me pull the rope inside along with a bag. After getting the bag with canned foods inside, I closed the window and dried my cape.

We spent all day inside until the time has come. Ted and Chip knew as well. I sat on the mattress, feeling the anxiety rising inside my chest. I won't lie that I am a bit afraid of what's going to happen if I see the man again. I sighed out loud, then felt Chip and Ted sitting beside me. Chip gave me a hug as Ted holds onto my hand. 'Don't worry (Y/N), we'll be here if anything happens,' Ted said. I smiled at both of them. "Thank you, Ted, Chip," I hug them both. After a few seconds passed, I let them go and head towards the middle of the mattress. I laid down as I felt both Chip and Ted laying down beside me. I closed my eyes and felt drifted to sleep.

It has been a few minutes until I felt myself in a different atmosphere. My eyes slowly opened to see myself standing in a familiar hallway. I spot the same, giant door ahead of me. I walked towards it and let out a loud sigh. "Here goes nothing," I breathed. I jumped upwards to the handle and grabbed it. The door slowly opened. I land on the floor on my feet and see the man once again in front of me. The man's head was down, he must be asleep. I tiptoed quietly inside the room, then suddenly the door shut on its own.

3rd pov

(Y/N) froze on her spot when she heard a low groan from the man. She noticed the man moving slowly on his chair. He rubbed his eyes with his fingers and slowly look around. His eyes widened when he spots the girl staring at him.

"I-It's you, from before," he stuttered. (Y/N) couldn't do anything but stare back at the man. "Y-Yup. it's me, again..." the girl shuddered. The man gazed at her in confusion. 'Why is she here again? But most importantly, how did she get here in the first place?' he thought. (Y/N) kept on gazing at the man, still standing on her spot. Her confidence has disappeared and she doesn't know what to do next. Although, she does feel bad for entering the room without the man's knowledge. "I-I'm so sorry for disturbing you, sir. I'll just uh, get going..." She stuttered, started to walk towards the door.

The man jumps on his chair and reaches out towards the girl. "W-WAIT! Please stay... It's been so long since the last time I have... company," the man pleaded. (Y/N) looked back towards the man. She was shocked, to say the least. The man's voice is low, yet soft. What he said really caught her off guard. She felt compassion towards him. She sighed, "Alright, I guess I can stay."

(Y/N) just stood on her spot, not knowing what to do. Her hands were on her arm as she looked down. There was an awkward silence between them. The man decided to take his chance to examine her. The girl has (h/l) (h/c) with (e/c). She seemed to be around the same age as when he first arrived at the tower. The man becomes aware of how uncomfortable she looked and sighed. "Why don't you come here? I promise I won't do any harm to you," he suggested. The (h/c) girl glanced at him and nodded, following his suggestion. When she got in front of the man, he reached his hand to her and grabbed her gently. He landed her on his lap, making her sit down. The two sat there awkwardly. It was odd for the Thin man. He never knew this girl or at least anywhere around the city. The (h/c) girl is not only completely new for him but this timeline as well.
