A/N: Hi! I know that lately I haven't been on my best and my writing is kinda shitty and my uploading schedule is all over the place, so first and foremost, I want to apologize for all of that. I know how sucky it can be to read a story with an inconsistent author and I put out my sincerest apologies for being a sucky author.

That being said, I am starting to get back into the 'author mindset' (as I like to call it), so the flow of writing and such has been easier as well as the fact that I have now moved on to another part or checkpoint of the story (second year), which is always beneficial for me when i have writer's block.

However, I am still struggling and I won't have access to my computer for about a month, and writing on my phone is always very uncomfortable to me. I am also more prone to spelling mistakes. Either ways, I will try to write as much as I can on my phone.

I will try my best to pre-write as much as I can or to upload when possible, but I am going to be very busy these next few weeks.

Sorry again for the inconvenience and for the long author's note, but let's get on with the story!

She then turned to him, "I hope that one day, you will have a garden of your own - not necessarily a garden, of course, - filled with so much love and have the imprint of so many people, that you will be able to walk me through it and tell me enough stories to fill a thousand children's story books."

Diagon Alley was a total mess and Harry couldn't help but feeling like slamming his head against the nearest wall for it.

How in the bloody world had he forgotten about the 'great' and 'wonderful' Gilderoy Lockhart?

When Remus suggested they go to Diagon, Harry had merely shrugged and nodded, placing Medusa around his neck and bidding goodbye to Hedwig. He had then walked over to the fireplace and flooed over to number four, Privet Drive, and marched next door to get Hermione, whom he had promised to bring to Diagon Alley when he went school shopping so she wouldn't have to go alone.

Throughout this, Draco and Neville both informed him that they too were visiting the shopping alley today in hopes of avoiding the usual traffic created later on in the month once it was closer to September.

Most of their friends had already gone shopping or were still out of the country, which was alright with Harry, as he hadn't really felt like meeting with too many people at the same time. However, should he bump into them, Harry would be quite pleased.

But that was then and this was now, and Harry was not very pleased at all to bump into people he knew, or any other person for that matter. He was least pleased of all when he had been interrupted from his book browsing (not shopping, as he had a Book of All - courtesy of Sapientia) by a greasy looking man with a rapidly clicking camera.

"Out of the way!" the man yelled as he shoved Harry quite roughly, causing him to fall unceremoniously onto a stack of piled books. Before they could clatter to the ground, however, Harry's magic extended outwards and levitated them back into place, garnering the attention of the nearest gaggle of giggling witches.

Unfortunately, it also brought him the attention of Gilderoy Lockhart.

The blonde, who had been previously signing a book for a middle aged woman and giving her a flirtatious smile, leapt to his feet and positively shouted, "It can't be Harry Potter?"

Harry grimaced and shifted backwards as the excited crowd murmured and parted for them.

Lockhart looked like christmas had come early for him as he dived forward, seized Harry's arm, and pulled him to the front.
