Harry Potter was having a marvelous birthday. He had woken up to Ginny Weasley, his girlfriend, kissing him lightly and singing a soft 'happy birthday' to him. He had then had Molly's famous pancakes along with the rest of the Weasleys in the large dining room of the new house Harry had bought them as appreciation.

As always, they had left an empty seat beside George, in memory of his twin brother Fred who had died in the war. Every time Harry looked at the chair, he could feel his eyes beginning to water. The twins had always been like older brothers of sorts to Harry, who had never had a loving family.

Harry would never admit this, especially not in front of Ron or Ginny, but the twins had always been Harry's favorite Weasleys.

After breakfast, they had all gone to the backyard to play quidditch. They had stayed there all day, only stopping for lunch before going back to the makeshift pitch. When the sun had finally started to set, they all landed and walked inside, showering and cleaning up before heading back outside. The backyard was now beautifully decorated, a large white tarp stood in the middle, lights hanging off of it and tables under it, fitting up to ten people each. There were a large amount of guests already milling around, excited to celebrate the 'defeater of the Dark Lord' in his birthday.

The party had lasted up to the very early hours of the morning and didn't end until Harry finally  began to feel drowsy and excused himself to go to bed. And that was where Harry was now. He was sitting on his bed,  letting his eyes drop, yet not slipping into the land of dreams. There seemed to be something that just wouldn't allow him to sleep. He was about to give in and go down to the kitchen to make himself a cup of tea when he heard a soft rapping on his window. Harry looked up, surprised, and found himself staring at a handsome tawny owl with a formal looking letter in his claws.

Harry stood up and made his way to the window. Once there, he opened it and let the owl in. The owl flew inside and landed on his desk, sticking it's leg out. Harry quickly walked over to the owl and untied the letter before petting the owl and giving it a treat and a bit of water from the glass on his bedside table. The owl hooted in appreciation before burying itself in its feathers, grooming them.

Harry looked at the letter in his hand. The Gringotts crest was formally stamped on the wax seal, which made Harry's eyebrows knit in confusion. Why would Gringotts be writing to him? Hadn't he already payed for all the damage the dragon had caused last year when he broke into the bank?

Harry moved those thoughts out of the way and decided to open the letter.

Dear Mr. Potter,

Your presence is required at Gringotts Wizarding Bank as soon as possible to claim your lordship and heirship rings as well as an inheritance test. A meeting has also been arranged with your account manager to discuss your vaults, investments, properties and other things. Say the words 'aurum', and this letter will serve as a portkey to take you to the bank.

Goblin Ragnok

Head Goblin of Gringotts Wizarding Bank

Harry was even more confused. Vaults? As in plural? Lord and heir rings? Investments? Properties? An inheritance test? Harry only took a few seconds to write a vague note and stick it on top of his bed, incase he wasn't back by morning, and stuffed his wand, the elder wand, his invisibility cloak, and a few other knick knacks into his pockets. He didn't know why, he was coming back by morning, but he still did it.
