A/N: I have no idea what to name this chapter so yeah :P

'I- what? Harry, you can't just kill people so I can stay longer.' Harry just huffed and melted into the shadows.

The pure panic displayed on the Headmaster's face the next morning as he conferred in quiet tones with the rest of the staff brought Harry enough joy to put him off his murderous thoughts.
He was impossibly tired after returning to the dorms much later than intended. He had needed to leave the jar with the soul piece and the Philosopher's Stone in the vault in the Room of Requirements, and had then decided to write to Nicholas and Perenelle Flamel. That had been a horrible decision as Mortem had insisted on teaching him the Secret Code used between the Soul Mates while writing.
Because of his tiredness and the realization that people dying in Harry's vicinity would bring Mortem, Harry had started meticulously planning how to murder Ronald Weasley.
He had been at it for two hours and he had almost everything worked out.
"Hello, Hazzy."
"Hello, Little Moon."
Harry scooted over a bit, jostling the rest of the Hufflepuff table to move slightly to their left.
"You did well last night."
Harry hummed in acknowledgment and glanced back at the head table. Quirrell was obviously missing, and so was Hagrid - probably trying to spend as much time as possible with Fluffy before he got confiscated by the Ministry.
"Dumbledore looks like he's two seconds away from shitting himself." Theo snickered as he piled up his plate with fresh fruits cut into cubes.
Daphne whacked him in the arm. "Don't be crude!" She was silent for a moment and a shy smile creeped onto her face. "But in all honesty, he does look like he's going to crap his trousers."
Daphne giggled softly into her hand and Theo looked at her as if she had hung the moon.
"Do you guys think anything happened to the Stone?" Hermione frowned, stopping the braid she was plaiting into Pansy's hair midway. Pansy frowned at her and nudged her hand, urging her to continue.
"What?" Tracy asked, letting her head fall on Terry's shoulder. Said boy blinked at her for a moment before sighing softly in resignment and picking up Tracy's fork, bringing it to her mouth. Tracy grinned at him, despite the scrambled eggs in her mouth.
"Thanks, Terry."
"Don't talk while eating." he scolded. (A/N: honestly poor Terry I keep forgetting he exists, this was Neville until I realized I hadn't written about him in forever 😭)
"What would the stone have to do with anything?" Blaise asked.
"I mean, practically everyone knows about Fluffy by now, and the teachers and those with parents in the ministry know that he's going to probably be removed, or at least investigated. Maybe, someone tried to steal the Stone or something now that the teachers are so distracted with trying to keep Fluffy." elaborated Hermione.
They all pondered on it for a moment.
"I mean... possible." Susan allowed, "But what are the chances? It's probably something else."
"On another note, how well do you guys think you did on the Herbology exam?"
With Draco's distraction, Harry's friends started talking about their upcoming and past examination.
