George didn't recognize this area at all. It was an old house that had no other surrounding houses. It was just alone, only trees were nearby and it felt like something from a horror movie.

"Are you planning to kill me or something?" George asked, only half joking. Clay laughed and rolled his eyes, not denying it.

"Come on," Clay called George over. George followed him, still unsure why he brought him here.

Clay opened the door to the house, it creaking slightly. He walks in, George still following, and goes upstairs.

Then he pulls down a ladder which looks like it leads to an attic, and climbs up. George climbs after him, hoping Clay doesn't actually plan on murdering him. That would be kind of disappointing.

They sit down in the nice attic. It had a lot of dust and some spider webs but other than that it was a cute little attic.

"Beautiful house, isn't it?" Clay looked at George waiting for an answer.

"Yeah, I don't get why it's abandoned."

Clay shrugged. "Me and my friends used to come to this house all the time, just to chill and get away from our parents. But now I'm the only one that comes here, and it's still mostly for the same reason."

George gave Clay a comforting look.

"I've always thought about fixing it up, maybe making it my home one day."

George looked around. "It definitely has potential. You should do it."

"You think so?"

"Yeah, I mean it needs some work but other than that it could really be a good house to move into."

Clay smiled. "This has always been my dream house, ever since I was a mere boy."

"It's a really nice house." George thought this house looked adorable. He would want to live there if he could, but he probably wouldn't anyways.

"This is my favorite place in the whole wide world to go. I haven't brought anyone here in several years."

"Oh really? I must be special then." George joked.

In a serious tone Clay said, "You are special."

This made George's heart skip a beat. He would've never imagined Clay saying that to him, and it made his heart flutter once more. George didn't reply back since he actually went speechless and just stared out the attic window, looking at the trees.

The two boys observed everything in a somewhat comfortable silence. George was mesmerized by the beautiful area that Clay called his favorite place. It has a nice little area in the backyard with many trees surrounding it. There's even a nice little patio, it was such a cute house.

Whilst George was still gawking at how amazing the house was, Clay was mesmerized by George, looking at how fascinated he seemed to be by this old broken down house. He was watching George's facial expressions and where his eyes traveled to, George looking out at all the wonderful things the small piece of land has to offer.

Clay started to think that maybe this could be him and George's home. Maybe someday that could happen. He gave a large smile at this thought, then stared out the window with George and observed the scenery.

They both watched the sunset, unknowingly scooting closer to each other. It was starting to get a little bit chilly, so Clay gave George his hoodie. He didn't actually need it anyways, so he told him to just keep it for now. George smiled whenever he smelled Clay's cologne almost smother the green hoodie.
