The rest of Clay's senior year, the couple spent practically every moment together. It was the most amazing time of their year and they enjoyed every minute of it.

Their friends could hardly keep them apart, even in class they would text each other constantly. But their friends never complained. They liked to see them happy and they actually loved them together.

Clay and George cleaned up a lot of the abandoned house in their free time, fixing a lot of things that Clay broke. A lot of it they would have to call a professional to fix though, and Clay apologized to George for that.

They still planned to move into that house, which is why they took turns mowing the lawn and cleaned it up every now and then.

They also both avoided drinking beer altogether, knowing the consequences now.

Sometimes they played Minecraft at each other's house or they had family dinner's together. George's mother actually loved Clay's mom and vise versa.

George and Drista pranked Clay a few times, making him a little bit pissed off. Clay said the only way to make him feel better was if George made out with him. George rolled his eyes but decided that was a good enough apology, so he agreed to that.

George even helped Clay out with college applications, even though he should've filled them out much earlier. But Clay got into his dream school which was amazing.

They had a small get together to celebrate Clay's acceptance into the school, and that was now George's dream school. He decided that his senior year he wouldn't slack off at all and he would get into the same school as his boyfriend so that he could always see him.

During the rest of the school year, many people still gave the couple bad looks, especially Kate. But this time Clay didn't mind the looks, and it was sort of like a way of showing off his boyfriend to him. Whenever he saw someone eyeing them, he would wrap his arm around George or kiss his cheek. Then they would look away disgusted, while Clay just laughed and joked about it with George later.

Overall, most people didn't care and it was just old news. Either way, Clay didn't care anymore, and that's all George cared about too.

It was finally graduation day, which was upsetting to George. He did love seeing Clay in his cap and gown, he looked so happy. He was really excited to be going to college and living his life away from home.

Clay's mother took so many photos on her phone that her storage was almost full. They were all sat in the living room while she made Clay do different poses in different places in the room. She forced George to get a few pictures with Clay, and Clay pulled George closer to him and kissed his cheek. That was now George's phone wallpaper.

They all took goofy photos and enjoyed Clay's presence for as long as they could.

Then they left to go to graduation and George started to tear up. He knew he should be happier for his boyfriend, but he didn't want to leave him yet.

Clay looked over at his boyfriend who tried his best to hold in tears.

"George, it might seem like I'm leaving but I can promise you that I'm not going anywhere."

George smiled while a tear rolled down his cheek. Clay wiped it off with his thumb and gave George a sweet, light kiss.

"I'll never leave you, George. And distance won't stop us from being together, especially since it's only for a year."

George hugged the taller man and wanted to hold on forever. But Clay had to get ready to walk across the stage and George knew he had to let go.
