George was still worried sick, not getting a single text from Clay. He was about to call him for the millionth time that night before Clay texted him. George's eyes widened as he looked at the text.

Clay :) Can I pick you up?

George started to worry even more. This must mean there was something wrong if he wanted to see him, so George urgently texted back saying yes.

He wanted to be there for Clay, even when nobody else was.

George pulled on a jacket and walked outside whenever Clay pulled into his driveway.

He expected Clay to be crying or looking distraught, but he looked to be the happiest man in the world. George still had a worried look on his face.

"Clay, you had me worried sick! Text me next time!"

Clay let out a slight wheeze. "I'm sorry, George. I wasn't on my phone like, the whole time."

"So how'd it go? Tell me everything."

Clay looked over to George and chuckled, then back to the road. "She accepts me, which I didn't expect."

George's face lit up. "That's amazing!" But then his expression changed to confusion. "But why didn't you just tell me on the phone?"

"Because, we're going to the house."

George was still slightly confused but shrugged it off. He didn't know what could be so important that couldn't be said over a phone call.

They arrived at the broken down house, the grass even higher than last time. Clay frowned at that fact. He decided he was going to mow sometime soon, even though it wasn't even his house.

Clay took George's hand and led him up to the second floor, this time opening the window.

"Clay, what the hell are you doing?" George watched him in concern.

"Relax, George." Clay chuckled and held his hand out for George to grab. George reluctantly held onto his hand, and Clay started to climb out the window onto the roof.

George was petrified. Heights scared the shit out of him, but he trusted Clay. So he held onto his hand tight, following Clay out the window.

They sat on the very top of the roof, George clutching onto Clay for dear life whilst Clay laughed at him. George narrowed his eyes at Clay, causing him to laugh even more.

"So, why'd you bring me up here anyways? To throw me off the roof?"

Clay let out a wheeze and George just gave him a look.

"No, George. I have something to tell you. And then I might throw you off the roof."

"Okay, what is it?"

Clay looked down at George's soft lips and then back up to his deep brown eyes. George's eyes widened whenever he noticed Clay's staring and that's whenever Clay snapped out of it.

"You know I like you. Way more than a friend."

George nodded. He was glad he wasn't the only one who had feelings for the other, but he knew Clay was going to say something like how he still wasn't ready.

"Well, I, uh-"

Clay spluttered out words, not getting to the point. Usually George would tease him, but he waited patiently for Clay to get the words out.

"I was just wondering if, you could be my boyfriend. I mean, I get if it's too fast, I can wait! It's completely up to you George-"

"Oh my god, yes!" George interrupted him, pulling him into a hug.
