Timeline: 2017, after Ragnarok• • • • •
Out of all the Avengers, there seemed to be two that seemed to hate him the most: Tony Stark and [Y/N] Stark. He could never quite figure out why because ever since the destruction of Asgard, he changed his ways and moved into the Avengers Complex in upstate New York.
Although Tony began to lighten up on the God, his niece did not. At first, Loki thought the young woman would begin to lighten up as well after a mission they had together, but he quickly realized he was wrong. The girl continued to ignore his presence and when Tony would leave her at the compound for her safety, she locked herself away in her room. The God of Mischief knew he was the villain in 2011, but he knew the young girl wasn't involved in any of his malicious plans. She would've only been fifteen at the time and he knew that S.H.I.E.L.D. and Tony Stark wouldn't let her get involved.
From a distance, he admired the twenty-one year old. She was by far one of the smartest in the entire group of heroes. Aside from hiding in her room, she also was good at locking herself away in the lab or the library, caught up in a new experiment or large classic novel. There had been a few times where Loki had gone into the library while she was there. He tried to talk to her, but she always glared or rolled her eyes and then left. She was always making the group the newest tech and if Stark invented something, she always tested it to make sure it was faulty, as if she didn't trust her uncle's work. Curiously enough, if Loki ever received tech or additional armor, it was never invented by [Y/N].
It had been months until he was finally fed up with the girl's hatred. It boggled him how she could continue to stay cold towards him. The Avengers were back for the day and the crowd prevented him from seeing the girl. He was able to find Tony making himself a drink in the kitchen and who better to talk to about [Y/N] than her own relative.
"Mr. Stark." The God approached the man.
"Woah, Rock of Ages," Tony didn't make eye contact with the God. "Mr. Stark was my dad. Just call me Tony," He God gave a confused look. "What's up? Did you need something?"
Loki nodded. "Yes, I was actually wondering why in Valhalla your niece is refusing to talk to me."
Tony squinted his eyes, look up to meet the God's face. "If you're trying to lay your filthy God hands on her-"
"No! No, not at all. Nothing like that, I assure you," Tony's expression didn't change. Loki continued. "I just, I've been here for months now and she hasn't said a single word to me. I frankly would like to know who I'm working with but all my attempts at conversing with her are failures."
Tony nodded. "Yeah, uh," He sighed. "She's good at holding grudges."
"I haven't done anything though. I mean, yes, I tried to invade New York and liberate-"
"Take over." Tony nodded with a sip.
"No, liberate humankind, but she wasn't there for that." Loki thought, looking away from the millionaire.
"Well, in a way she was there," Loki turned back to the man. "She lost her parents then. That's why she's been with me ever since."
