“Soren, I seriously don't get you.” Lorenzo folded his hands behind his head in a relaxed position. “Yesterday, you were talking about how you were going to scan the entire ship for Miriana and now we’re planning a party? How is this even going to help us?”

“Oh, Lorenzo, you're so simple-minded.” Soren laughed, hitting Lorenzo’s chest with the clipboard as the two watched his men set up the Salsa Party on the deck. “It’s been about a week and a half since the strike. Right now, Miriana must be thinking she’s safe.” He laughed, looking down at the checklist. “When will that little bitch learn she’s never safe from me?”

“Again, how does this help us find her?” Lorenzo asked once more.

“You’ll see…” Soren smirked viciously.

“The Salsa Party? You want to do it there?” Charles asked, looking up at Wayne as the group huddled around the dining room table in the dragon’s room.

“Yes, I do. Think about it. He’ll be there looking for Miriana,” the assassin looked up from the blueprints at her, “which you will be nowhere near. We are not having another strike incident. You are not about to jump off the ship again. I can only stop your hormonal dragon from killing him once.” His eyes shifted back to the blueprints. “I need someone to distract his little buddies while I prepare the shot.”

“I’ll handle that,” Queenie replied with a wink. “Some of Soren’s men have the hots for me, so I’m sure I can tease them for a little bit.”

The man masked looked towards Queenie in concern. “Are you sure you're up to it?” he asked.

“Yeah, why wouldn’t I be?” She scoffed.

“I mean his men are jerks,” he warned. “Why would you want to flirt with them?”

“Why do you care if I do?” she shot back.

He didn’t reply, looking away from the eldest Heart sibling and towards Wayne, urging him to continue.

“Anyway” Wayne muttered, turning back to the blueprints, “since this room gives me a clear view of the deck, I’m going to be stationed here. What I need you all to do is find a way to lead Soren towards the upper platform deck. That way, he’ll be away from people, and I can get a clear shot.”

“I’ll handle Soren,” Silvia said, causing Wayne’s head to shoot up. “What’s wrong?” she asked, raising her eyebrow.

A sick feeling in his gut formed at the thought of Silvia around Soren. He bit his lip, looking away from her as he blushed in embarrassment. “Nevermind… Uh… where was I?”

“You were explaining that you need a clear shot of Soren, Daddy,” Penny reminded him, munching on a cookie Miriana had given her.

“Oh, right…” Wayne cleared his throat, looking back down at the blueprints. “I need a clear shot of Soren or this won't work. The bullets I’m using will freeze his cells almost instantly and kill him,” he said, placing the bullet on the table. “It needs to hit his heart. If it doesn't… well… let’s just say all hell’s gonna break loose.”
