Silvia sat in the corner of the room as Soren went over his plan with the nurses once more. He was very adamant to find Miriana, unbeknownst to him that she was in the next room, and would trample anyone in his path.

Silvia looked out the window, watching as the waves rocked against the boat. A deep part of her wished they never found Miriana. From the day she met Soren she never liked him, but Miriana -- at the time -- loved him so she played along. She smiled politely and kept her comments to herself.

She couldn’t end the love that she thought they had, so she didn’t comment on the fact that he drank a lot. She didn’t say a word when she saw the bruises on Miriana’s skin. And she looked the other way when she heard Miriana cry in the middle of the night.

But when she realised Soren was the reason why her niece was in so much pain, she couldn’t stand by anymore. Not wanting to be a part of his schemes anymore, she asked to resign. She couldn’t side with someone who would do that to a woman.

However, she knew leaving Soren wouldn’t be easy.

She knew what this man was, how his power and being could intoxicate someone. She wanted out. She wanted to be free but that wasn’t her choice. If she were to even utter another word about her wanting to leave, Soren would shoot a nasty glare at her, reminding her of her place. She knew if she were to leave, the consequences would be deadly. Very deadly.

“Hey, you alright?” Lorenzo asked, a puff of smoke escaping his lips.

“Yeah, just peachy,” she muttered. She had sought out Lorenzo for help, but he was too engrossed with his own ‘personal mission’.

Truth be told, she had a little crush on Lorenzo. He was cute, available, and not too rough. While she knew that he already birthed two children with another woman and was abusive to said children and woman of said children, she attempted to make several romantic gestures towards him.

However, Lorenzo wasn’t looking for a relationship with Silvia. His sights were purely on getting Raelyn and his children back.

“How are you?” Silvia asked, leaning towards the newly instated captain. “How is that little personal mission coming along?”

“Good,” he raised his cigarette to his lips, “thinking of my next mode of attack.”

“Attack? Are you trying to kill someone?” She chuckled, scooting closer towards him. “If you are, I can help bury the body. I’ve seen How To Get Away With Murder so many times.” She smirked, her fingers slowly resting on his.

“You? Hide a body?” He scoffed, moving his hand away, much to Silvia’s displeasure. “Please, I doubt you could kill someone.”

“I could kill someone if I wanted to,” Silvia shot back, folding her arms over her chest. “Just because I don't have big strong muscles, or six pack abs doesn't mean that I am not capable of killing someone!”

Lorenzo glanced at her from the corner of his eye, a slight blush was creeping upon her cheeks. He snickered softly. How cute. She blushes like a little school girl. Rolling his eyes, he decided to play along with her little game.
