"Oh- my god!" I shouted, running directly in Dr. Deaton. He grabbed my shoulders, steadying me.

"Y/n. It's good to see you in such good health. I heard about what happened, but by the look on your face, I'm assuming I don't know the half of it," he said. I nodded.

"Uh— There's more happening with Scott. He's with the Alpha pack, and for a second, when Stiles and I were in the hospital— It's like, I opened my eyes in a different place. Scott was with Deucalion, but I was Scott?" I explained frantically. Deaton rubbed his chin.

"Y/n, I think we can both agree that you aren't normal anymore. I'm not sure, but Marin told me a little while back that she suspected you had been affected by— by being clawed by Peter among other things," he said. He lead me into a classroom for a moment, sitting me down. "Y/n, you need to listen to me very closely. You've crossed several lines over the past several months. Lines that have brought you from death to life, and vice versa. It's changed you. I'm sure you've already noticed that. Scott being able to sort of— lend or share his abilities with you is just the beginning. From the beginning, just as I suspected Scott's different capabilities, I suspected yours as well. You kids are special," he said. I turned back towards the door.

"We have to get Stiles," I said. Deaton sighed.

"We'll resume this conversation after, then," he said. I followed Deaton down the hallway where my father had taken Stiles.

"Stiles, come on, There's been a pretty disturbing amount of violent activity in this county in the last few months— several murders tied to this school. I don't know what's going on here, but it's serious. And hey— your dad is missing," my father said to Stiles. I didn't hear Stiles respond, but Deaton began opening the door. "Fine. But I don't want you going home alone. You have someone you can stay with tonight?" he said. I stood slightly behind Deaton, obscuring the weapons on my leg.

"He's with us," Deaton said. I didn't meet my father's eyes, as I took Stiles hand, and we left quickly.

I gave Stiles a glass of water, as he sat in the office. Deaton sat down across from us. I stood, pacing around the room.

"Okay, so the Nemeton— how do we get in?" I asked. Deaton sighed. I ran my hands through my hair, and then I stopped. "Uh oh—," I said, my stomach beginning to feel like it's flipping. I closed my eyes, and Stiles quickly took my arm. When I opened them, I was in a forest. I was holding someone in my— well Scott's arms. I looked down to see Ms. Morrell.

"What the—" I began to say, my voice came out a little jarbled.

"Y/n," she breathed. My eyes widened, and she coughed. "I knew it," she wheezed with a smile.

"What the hell is happening? Where are we?" I whispered. She shook her head.

"N—no time. You three need to do the ritual, get to the Nemeton. Keep— keep the balance," she said quietly. I nodded, and when I blinked, Stiles was holding me up. He smiled sheepishly at me.

"Uh— it's you for real, right?" He asked. I nodded, looking to Deaton. Stiles sat me on the couch.

"Marin was in the forest with the Alpha pack. She said— she said we needed to do the ritual?" I said confused. Deaton sighed.

"Yes. We need Allison and Scott," Deaton said. I nodded, looking to Stiles. He looked back at me with hesitation.

"He'll meet us. I called Allison while you were- y'know," he said. Deaton looked between the two of us for a moment.

"Stiles, why don't you—"

"Yea, I'll wait outside," he said quickly. He stood, and I took his hand. I ran my fingers over his knuckles, and I saw him lighten up.
