"Thanks for dinner," Scott murmured. Kira grinned.

"For the sushi or the pizza?" She asked jokingly.

"Uh... the pizza was good— My sister's more of the sushi kind of gal," he said awkwardly. She nodded.

"You— you haven't heard from her then?" Kira asked. Scott shook his head.

"Nah— and it's probably fine. We can usually tell if something's up with each—," he stopped, as he felt something in his throat. He coughed for a second, which turned into a whole minute.

"Scott— are you okay? It's not the wasabi is it?!" Kira exclaimed. He shook his head.

"No— no, what I was saying— I think something is wrong with her," he murmured. Kira nodded.

"I'll keep and ear out in case she calls," Kira began. "You seem like a really nice guy, and not just because you and Y/n kept me from getting eaten by a coyote." She patted his arm, distracting him from the twin feeling.

"Did I do something else?" Scott asked with a curious expression. She smiled lightly.

"Yeah... You remembered my name," she said. Just then, Scott was slammed in the head with a heavy object, and he got knocked out.

"Y/n! Oh god, wake up please!" I heard someone calling my name. I opened my eyes, my throat sore from being suffocated. I looked up from my daze and saw Kira next to me. I gave her a tired smile.

"Heyyy, you found me," I muttered, my head falling back down.

"Oh no, no I didn't. Y/n, you've been missing all day! We thought you left with some guy!" She said. I blinked at her.

"Stiles?" I murmured. She shook her head, her eyes focused on mine.

"No— Although they should've known you would've never left. I should've known, even though I've only known you for a couple days. You've never left anywhere without Stiles," Kira said. I smiled lightly at his name.

"Yea— I was, I was in the chemistry room. I thought I saw this note thing. Right after you left, the door opened— it was, it was spooky," I giggled. She looked at the ground in front of me.

"Y/n, what was he using to put you out?" She asked. I shook my head, blinking at her.

"What are you talking about?" I stumbled over my words.

"Am I interrupting, ladies?" Barrow said, the electric thing back in his hands. I groaned, my head hitting the fence behind us.

"I've had enough of you doing that," I mumbled. He looked over at Kira with evil eyes. He began walking towards her, but I stuck my foot out, causing him to trip. I giggled as I watched him fall, almost shocking himself on the current. He glared at me, getting up and dusting himself off. My eyes felt fuzzy, and my brain felt like it was in a whole different world.

"What are you doing?" Kira asked as he crept towards her. My brain came into blurry focus as I tried to piece together what was happening. The effort, however, made my brain want to explode.

"Right now? Ah, right now, I'm gonna take your picture. Hmm? Just a little proof of our time here together... A little proof for all of those people who never believed," Barrow said, taking Kira's picture. I frowned at the gesture, and Kira looked over at me with worry.

"Okay, you got your picture. You want to let us go now?" She said. I smiled at her, and she sighed.

"Oh... Did you ever see a movie called Village of the Damned? The original, not the remake-- nobody cares about crappy remakes. I'm talking about the 1960 black-and-white masterpiece," Barrow began.
