I rode Scott's bike down the road, zipping through the streets like I was on crack. While I drove, I mulled over the situation with Stiles. I couldn't avoid it forever. When he looked at me earlier— I didn't even know what to say. I knew why he couldn't let this go, but as much as I loved being his partner in crime, I also just wanted to be able to do stupid romantic things. Was that a crime? The back tire kicked up some smoke as I screeched to a halt in front of the Sheriff's department. I saw Mr. Stilinski lying on the ground, and I quickly grabbed my knife and stun gun from my bag. The lights were busted, so I took this opportunity to drag Mr. Stilinski behind his desk. He was paralyzed.

"Y/n— Y/n, goddamnit, listen to me!" He whisper yelled. I looked at him with wide eyes. "You be careful, you hear me?" He demanded. I rolled my eyes.

"Yessir," I muttered before pushing his head under the desk, just in case. I heard Lydia shout Kira's name, and I saw Kira slashing at Tracy. I turned my stun gun on. "Hey, watch out!" I shouted. The Kanima and Kira both turned to face me. Kira ducked as I shot the stun gun at Tracy. It caught her in the back, and I quickly vaulted over a desk, using the momentum to kick her in the face. "Watch out, Lyds!" I shouted, as Tracy didn't stay fazed for long. I grabbed Lydia, pushing her back towards Mr. Stilinski's office.

"Y/n!" I heard Kira scream behind me. I turned to see Tracy leering down at me. I gave her a tiny smile.

"Oh dear," I muttered, as I pushed Lydia back further. Tracy spun quickly, her tail striking me in the side, as I flew back into the desk. "Ow— Shit!" I shouted. With one last ditch effort, I threw my knife at her, sticking her in the back. She spun back around, and as I felt the paralyzation set in, I saw Kira sliced Tracy's tail off. My face flickered with a smile, as Tracy's roar filled the room. I shook my head out of it.

"Hey! Get me over to her! I need to wake her up!" I groaned. Kira grabbed my arm, pulling me over her shoulder. She dragged me towards the stairs, and I slunk down them, trying to hold myself up. I looked over to Kira. "Make sure Lydia is alright!" I ordered. I turned back to the blood trail in front of me. I used the little bit of energy I had stored up to propel myself onto Tracy's body. I collapsed next to her, covering my hand over her eyes. I heard Malia behind me, calling my name, as I blinked again. That familiar grayscale was back. I didn't waste any time, as my eyes flashed. "Wake up," I ordered her. Just like that, I felt myself being pulled away. Malia pulled me back into her arms.

"Y/n! Jesus, are you okay?" She hissed in my ear. I grunted in response, as Tracy looked back at us with confusion.

"What— What's happening to me?" Tracy asked, her skin turning back to normal. I blinked at her, the paralyzation hitting hard, as Malia pressed her hand over the wound on my side.

"You're okay— It's—," I began to mutter, but we were interrupted as something literally appeared out of nothing. Malia let out a scream, as a man with a mask— the man from Tracy's dream— injected a needle into her neck. I struggled to get up, but Malia held me back, as another masked figure appeared in front of us. Malia roared, and it held her head against the wall. Using it's other hand, it lifted my head up, tilting it side to side. "What— the hell?" I spluttered. Malia struggled against the figure's grip, as the masked face moved closer to mine. I whimpered in pain, as I tried to pull away, or move, or do anything.

"Her condition... is terminal," the things hissed to each other. Just like that, Tracy's mouth spewed that metallic liquid, and she fell over. Her eyes glazed over, and staring directly into my soul. The one masked thing let go of us, following it's apparent partner, when I noticed another masked figure down the hallway. They seemed to blink out of existence. Malia's body shook, as she pulled me back. My eyes watered, as I stared directly back into Tracy's eyes. They were dead eyes. The worst kind. The kind that said 'You could've saved me, but look at me now.'
